4.0 out of 5 stars Lego NBA Arena
I bought the Lego NBA arena for my son. He is 10 years old,he loved it.I did use car model glue and glue the lego arena pieces together,so they wouldn't fall apart. He uses the lego guy pieces and pretend plays basketball. He has also used other legos and built a locker room and other rooms for the basketball lego players.I think this item is great for kids interested in...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun to Build and Play
I got this set for Christmas last year and I had a great time building it and playing with it. This set is rather large so be prepared to have a place to store it (I built it on a piece of plywood). I would also suggest building it on a hard surface.

My daughter is an absolute lego lover and when she saw the huge basketball arena she had to have it. It combined her love of building legos and her new love of basketball. I love seeing her put the set together. Great brain builder and fun shooting hoops at its completion.

5.0 out of 5 stars NBA Basketball LEGO Arena, July 2, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: LEGO Sports: NBA Ultimate Arena (Toy)
Ready to take LEGO to the pros? Well, you can with this LEGO NBA Arena. The little LEGO figures include Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Jason Kidd, and many more NBA Stars! The players can actually move on the court, shoot, and slam dunk! The basketball has great detail, including Spalding NBA written on it. The hoop looks just like a pro one, with a clear backboard. This is a super duper fun LEGO set for kids who like LEGO Sets and sports.

It is awesome. I can pretend to be any basketball star I want and pretend to do different plays. I can even hang the players off the basket rim when they dunk the ball.

3.0 out of 5 stars A real bargain for a lego set, August 21, 2005

We bought this set for my 6 year old son's b-day. It was originally $79. We paid $19.97 here. He needed some help putting a few things together, but otherwise methodically followed the directions in the book and had his stadium up and running in about an hour. Build it where you're going to play with it because it doesn't transfer spots without breaking. I never would have paid full price for this, but at the clearance price it was a steal.

8 year old and 6 year old are still playing with it all the time. they loved putting it together and they love playing it and switching the pieces around and bargaining for who gets which player. it was fun to put together - though i had to help the 8 year old just a little (he's a very good lego builder)

The NBA Ultimate Arena is the best in LEGO basketball. With 10 NBA players you'll hit the court in a realistic game. Shooting, dunking, blocking, and passing, this game has it all!

3.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for little basket-brawlers!, July 26, 2005

This is a great set - my kids have spent hours playing with it! Like most Lego toys, it's very durable. Our family favorite is to re-create the NBA brawl between the Detroit Pistons & the Indianapolis Pacers. I've rated the set slightly lower because it didn't come with either Ben Wallace or Ron Artest, or with any fans throwing projectiles. Otherwise it's a good solid value.
