My son plays goalie for a hockey team and basically breaths hockey. This is so much fun to play. You can really get the pucks flying. I love that the "ice" is not made of legos and therefore does not fall apart all the time. I love to play it with my son. I only gave the one star of educational because it is not a "learning" toy. I guess you can learn eye hand corodination but this is more of a FUN FUN FUN toy.

My 9 & 6 year-old sons received this set for Christmas. They played with it for about 10 minutes. It is now under the bed. We are huge LEGO fans, but we are very disappointed with this set. The boys find it boring. It is also hard to store once set up.

I bought this for my son who is a hockey nut. Although I was leary about the age label on it (7 and older), my three and 1/3 year old has played with it non-stop! He has not had any problems with it, and he plays with it all the time. He has learned how to put it back together if it comes apart, and he plays hard with it. The puck really sails across the ice. *****

What a waste! My son loves hockey & wanted this so bad but when we opened it we couldn't believe how cheesy this was. The rink is a folded piece of flimsy plastic. You're better off to just but the players separately like we did. Very disappointing and overpriced.
