Excellent small Lego set at an excellent price. I bought two of them for my eight year old and he absolutely loves them. Easy to build allowing the little ones tons of fun. He loves Lego, he loves Star Wars and really enjoy playing his clone troopers against the Jedi knights.

An inexpensive way to build your own army for the big start wars Lego battle. Also very durable with the high quality associated to all Lego toys.

As a fan of Legos and Star Wars, the Clone Scout Walker is simply a must-have. Not only is it a neat little forerunner of the ever-popular AT-ST "Chicken-walker" of Episodes 4-6 (although, of course, it didn't appear until Episode 5...but I digress) it's an absolute steal for its list price of $9.99.
For that price, you get a mean little military machine and its not-quite-a-Clone-Trooper but not-yet-a-Stormtrooper pilot, complete with Lego's imaginative take on a blaster rifle (turn it around and it becomes a high-tech bullhorn!).
I love the look of the Clone Walker, and it balances nicely on its bird-leg design. The no-nonsene chin-mounted dual blasters give it authority, and the design looks speedy and well-suited for its task of - well, scouting. Whoever your Clone Walker is chasing - Battle Droids, Wookies, Jedi, or Lego townspeople unfortunate enough to have rubbed the Republic the wrong way, this walker will do the job.
I do have a couple of minor complaints. The turret of the walker doesn't rotate; the blasters do, giving it a full 180 traverse of fire, but they don't rotate up and down. This means enemy starfighters would be able to take these little guys out with no threat of retribution. Second, the walker's legs don't move very far forward, so the positions you can put them in are limited. Finally, there are a few spots on the walker that are flimsy, mostly around the turret, but unless you're getting overzealous handling it, it shouldn't be a problem.
The final word - get this now!

The scout walker looks cool standing on a shelf, in a lego war scene, in a glass case, but when you're playing with it... it doesn't really walk. Bending the feet into the certain walking position takes forever, and it's only one step. If you're going to play with this, make sure you have a fairly large separitist army to destroy it quickly.

BUT on the good side, you get a commander Neyo clone trooper minifig.
