This is set is very pleasing to the Lego and Star Wars fan. It includes a General Grievous minifig (only set to get it in) and an Obi-Wan Kenobi (non-light up lightsaber version). It includes Greivous' Wheel-Bike Transport and a bird/lizard creature that Obi-Wan rides on. One of the things I do not like about this set is that the lightsaber hilts are a gray color as opposed to the traditional silver. I also am not a fan of the flesh tone color that Obi-Wan has, only because I feel it disrupts the continuity in lego. What I do like about this set is Greivous. Lego did a terrific job of bringing the 4-Armed General to life. I strongly reccomend this set. It includes 2 great minifigs and comes with 5 light sabers (3 blue, 2 green). Lego has started to make all jedi figures in other sets with light up lightsabers. Which means you cannot remove the lightsaber from their hand.

Good challenge for my 8 year old to put together... not too difficult as to be frustrating but hard enough to make him think a bit.
He loves Star Wars so he has spent a good amount of time playing with the toy after putting it together.

This was the last Episode III Lego set I bought, simply because I didn't really like the way it looked. Sure, people say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but through the years and the hundreds of thousands of bricks I have learned you can usually tell when a Lego set isn't going to completely satisfy. But I bought it anyway. And while this set has its moments, the General Grievous Chase is no outshining star. With just 111 pieces, there isn't much substance; and therefore there isn't a lot to get excited about.
The real treasure (and main reason for even buying this set) here is General Grievous himself, who comes equipped with four lightsabres (2 green, 2 blue). His body is basically a glorified Episode I droid, but white and with two extra arms to hold all the lightsabres. (On a completely out-of-context note, the body used here for GG would have been perfect for all those previous droids, since it allows for the arms to move away from the body. That way, their weapons could have gone from side to side... you'll see what I mean if you buy this.) I guess all I could think about when I was putting him together was how cool an actual duel between Obi-Wan and Grievous would be, in film, with the plentiful lightsabres. Obi-Wan's minifig is in standard form, while his giant lizard-thing is a rather "puffed up" version of the Mos Eisley Cantina's infamous Dewback. It's actually quite ugly. Assembling all this took me under 20 minutes, which is expected with such a small piece count. Oh, and trying to figure out how to reposition the legs of the wheelbike (correctly) so it could roll took an addition two to three minutes. All in all, the General Grievous Chase is an average Star Wars Lego set; nothing too special, and certainly not among the best of the Episode III line. Still, if not for simply finalizing your collection, Mr. Grievous is probably worth the price alone. This set is very durable, a decent displayer and reasonably priced, considering the aforementioned pluses. Let the force be with you.

Obi-Wan comes with a lizard that looks like its wearing a headress. Very cool. It comes with some kind of reins, and a saddle that is built. The lizard, named Boga, is about a foot long. Obi-Wan himself comes with a brown cape and a top similar to Ep.1 Anakin's. Also, this kit comes with 5 lightsabers, 3 blue and 2 green, plus an extra hilt. The lightsabers have to be assembled.
Now for Grievous. His cape is red on the inside and gray on the outside, with some kind of black pattern. His body is white and best described as similar to an Ep.1 droid with four arms that only move from side to side. He rides an interesting spidery-looking contraption with four guns.

My 10 year old son is the person that received the Star Wars Episode III General Grievous Chase lego toy. He had saved up his allowance to purchase it and we were very pleased with the toy! He was able to follow the directions by himself, it did take quite awhile to put together, but he did it all in one day. He is very pleased with the toy. I was nervous with how expensive it was, but it is a larger toy and it does a few things. It was worth the money and we were very pleased all the way around, including the fact that it arrived before we anticipated it to.

It is good, but not super good
it comes with 5 lightsabers, wich is good plus they are not like the light-up kind because the light-up kind can't come out of the guys hand. Greivous and his robot is awsome and Obi-wan is good too. But the set should have more pieces and the lizzard thing isn't the coolest. Still it'zz awsome

My son wanted a Lego General Grevious Chase for his birthday. I was told that they didn't even make the toy anymore so I found it on Amazon. I was surpirsed to see that it was almost $200 but knew Lego products were expensive. I buckled and purchased it anyway. I was floored when I received it in the mail. It is TINY! I thought I would be getting some huge box for that price! Maybe I just don't get it but this is ridiculous! My son better play with this thing daily for a whole year! I am never doing this again!
I did want to say that the vendor shipped the product very quickly and I was very pleased with that.

I bought this for my son when he was about 5. He put it together in a few minutes and has been playing with it and the general ever since. While he loves it, the assembly was far too easy.
However, if memory serves, I got it for about $20, not $150 (when you include postage). I simply cannot recommend it at that price, hence the low rating. Hey, I love LEGO, but this price must be for collectors only.
