5.0 out of 5 stars This is one nice ship!
It has a pivoting cockpit that swivels in conjunction with the wings. It's got two huge twin blasters, two four-barrel cannons that come out each side of the ship (although they tend to come off easily). It stores three bombs that can be dropped when you tilt up the back end. It has a smuggling compartment that connects to the underside of the ship via a magnet. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars cool, but sucky durability
This is really cool and has tons of secret compartments and is fun to build but it has terrible durability. After i built it I was showing my mom the stuff it does and the most of it broke off and hit the ground and went into peices so i rebuilt it and the same thing happened again. So if you get it be really careful holding it and picking it up. Its especially fun to...

This review is from: LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett's Slave (7153) (Toy)
It has a pivoting cockpit that swivels in conjunction with the wings. It's got two huge twin blasters, two four-barrel cannons that come out each side of the ship (although they tend to come off easily). It stores three bombs that can be dropped when you tilt up the back end. It has a smuggling compartment that connects to the underside of the ship via a magnet. The front (or top) compartment of the ship opens up revealing two rockets and a little blue power core(?). It comes with Jango and a young Boba Fett, and two cool little pistols. All in all, it's a very nice looking ship with some cool features. However there are a couple minor drawbacks. One, there's no where to hold it where you can menuever it around easily. With several hinges, flaps, and a couple sensative connections, there's no where to really grab it and move it around freely. Two, the underside between the wings isn't as strongly constructed as I would have liked. These drawbacks are very minor though. The ship is very big (twice the size of Boba Fett's Slave 1) and is a must have for any Star Wars lego collector. The [$$$] price tag is a bit much, it should retail for around [$$$}. But it's definately a beauty that makes some of the older Star Wars ships look dull in compairson. Grade A.

Jango Fett's Slave I is much, much better than the original Slave I. A lot of people have said that they can't find a decent place to hold it and fly it around, but I've found that if you hold onto the two black beams on the bottom (or back) with one hand, it works pretty well. One of my favorite parts about this set is the Jango Fett mini-figure. It's really cool how his head turns around to reveal his face when you take the helmet off.
Buy this set!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Definetly better than the first!, August 2, 2002

This review is from: LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett's Slave (7153) (Toy)
Our good friends at lego did a much better job this time on creating Jango Fett's Slave I than they did with Boba's. A lot bigger and better looking, but not quite as durable. One of the coolest features would have to be the rotating wings and cockpit which ensures that the pilot is always as comfortable as posible by sitting upright even when the ship is on its back. The two twin-barreled rotating laser cannons are not affected by gravity, and all of you know that when you left the original down for a while the canons would start to aim down. The opening compartments on the side reveal two heat seeking rockets and the ships translucent power generator. An additional two compartments give space for Jango's two laser blasters and his wig, if you can't find anywhere else to put it. And the magnetically held and detachable cargo-bay escape pod prison cell (whatever you want it to be) adds to the list. Not to mention the three siesmic charges. Boba and Jango could have been made a little better, and the ship is kindof heavy and hard to lift. Other than that, it's one crazy son of a lot of guns!!

This set is very good. It may take a while to build it, but it is worth it. Some of the weapons that it has that are in the movie are: Sysmic chargers, blaster cannons, and missles. It also comes complete with a prisoner compartment.

Jango Fett is so sweet and his slave 1 is da bomb, I bought this set from [the store] And let me tell you it is soooo cool, but there's one major flaw the ship is heavy once assembled and if you drop it It will be so hard to get the ship to stay together without Falling apart, but They Could have painted Jango's leg armor on his legs but this Is an awesome Slave one Because I find the siesmic charges the hidden Ion cannon and the blaster cannons with the 360 degrees rotation base so awesome. All I'm saying Is Get this set you'll be glad you did.

i was lucky enough to pick up this model for half price at an unnamed retailer and I am very pleased with it. There are some nice features such as the cargo storage units and bomb bay. Of course the set includes the awesome Jango Fett and clone "son" Boba. My only complaint is that the design of the wing covers are rather flimsy (not the wings themselves, but the rounded parts that hide the wing's connection point). they keep falling off or loosen when handled. A little pricey, but well worth it!

THIS SET IS VERY NEAT. FIRST, THERE IS A SECRET COMPARTMENT WERE YOU CAN PUT SIESMIC CHARGES. THEN THERE'S A REMOVEABLE PRISON CELL WITH A TRANSPERANT DOOR, AND ROTATING LASERS. AND IT HAS A FLAP WITH PROJETILE LAUCHERS ON THEM. PLUS, THE WINGS ROTATE. YOU WILL GET YOUNG BOBA FETT AND JANGO FETT. YOU CAN TAKE OFF JANGO'S HELMET AND TURN HIS HEAD AROUND TO REVEAL HIS FACE.

5.0 out of 5 stars What wouldn't I give to have a real one of this!!!, July 31, 2002

This review is from: LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett's Slave (7153) (Toy)
Jango Fett's Slave I is number one! It comes with Jango Fett and his so-called son, Boba, who is really an unaltered clone of Jango. It's equipped with an array of cool features as follows:
It comes with a cool removable prisoner compartment, Fold out missile launchers with missiles, Rotating rapid-fire laser cannons, a one-of-a-kind canopy, compartments for his hair (More on that later) and his WESTAR-34 laser blasters, rotating stabilizer wing and rotating cockpit, Seismic Charge load-and-release system, and a series of opening doors.
The size one of my favorite bits, along with the colors and features. It dwarfs the former Slave I and a few other ships. Now about those colors. It has this cool Yoda green and a new darker blue. The common gripe I've heard about not being able to properly hold it is the first thing I solved. I hold it right at the gap where The wing originate. Unfaortunatly This method is plagued with the two rounded black things falling off. Jango and Boba Fett are pretty cool and not to mention, one-of-a-kind. Boba looks a bit comical and stupid with his IMOBILE SHORT LEGS. He sports long hair and a mean looking face. Jango is really cool and just about perfect. His armor is cool and accurate. He has a cool new revolving head that turns backwards when you want him to be in armor, forwards if you want to have him without armor. He's better in armor because he looks awkward in hair and wears an expression that he's sniffing skunk spray. Over all I'd say it's a well worth very cool lego set.

This is a nice set. It's pretty expensive but well worth it. It's cool how Boba Fett comes with Jango Fett in the set. One problem is that it's pretty easy to break, but it's a lot of fun to play with. Some things that they don't show in the movie but are in the set, is the prison chamber, The gun comparment and the engine with hidden missles. My favorite part of the set is the hidden guns.
