I love Star Wars and I love Lego so this thing is pretty awesome. I was honestly expecting an actual lego figure but it turned out to be a lego shaped figure. It is really durable and looks cool displayed in my room. I was debating to just keep it in the box and collect it but decided against it.
Overall, it is a pretty awesome display. I would love it even more if it was an actual posable lego figure.

As a Lego and Star Wars fan this is a great item from Gentle Giant! It is well made with magnets in place to hold Luke's head and front plaque. The light end of the light saber slid snugly into place. Colors are bright and detail are spot on. Keep in mind this is an adult display item, not a toy for children! Only reason I rated slightly low on educational value is it's not a toy! Enjoy this item behind glass in a display cabinet.

I bought mine at ToysRus for only $69 which is overpriced. This item should cost no more than $40. It is very heavy and durable. The head is attached with a nice magnet and allows for 360 degree swivel that is nice and tight. It is not for everyone and not something to be played with. the figures pose is fixed to the stand and is meant for display. It is for a nutty SW fan and LEGO fan like myself. My so will like it too, but just for display. Other than the price it is a great item. I hope they make a Darth Vader soon.
