Everybody wants to point out how "fragile" this set is. And, while I'm not going to deny the fact that a wing or two may come flying off at you once in a while, I will say that that shouldn't take away from the appeal of this set. If you are going to zoom a Lego around a room, yeah... you're going to have a piece break off now and again. So what? Pick it up and put it back on. Anyway, in my opinion, Anakin's Starfighter is one of the sleekest vehicles in the Episode III line. It was also the first Sith set to be available, coming out almost a month before the remaining nine (for whatever that's worth). It has some unique pieces (the windshield, the yellow wings) and some crafty uses of other ones (the fire-hose nozzles as side guns).
The Vulture Droid that chases Anakin through the stars is a definite step-up from the original, butt-ugly-brown Droid Fighter set of past years, while the Starfighter is as fresh a ship as the Tri-Fighter or even the ARC-170 Fighter--also featured in the Sith line. During the assembling process, there are a number of tedious steps that can get you frustrated (including applying many stickers to both ships); but the outcome is worth it. Again, I have had little problem with feebleness on either the Vulture Droid or Starfighter and if you know how to handle your Lego's, you shouldn't either. Anakin's ship has three extendable legs that hold it up, while the droid sits nicely on his own (rotating) wings. Putting this set together took about 35 minutes, which is pretty average for a piece count of just over 200. As I said, it was at times tedious, but nonetheless an easy and fun put-together. I see no reason why anyone would be disappointed with this set. If you're going to zoom it amongst the stars, there is a perfectly accessible 4x6 plate (under Anakin) where you can grab a hold. And with two ships there is enough substance for two people, while the ships are small enough to be carried by one person should you opt not to share. In the end, set #7256 is more durable than most make it out to be. It is a great set for displaying and is reasonably priced considering it features two vehicles and that, overall, it looks so neat. You can decide from there, but I'd recommend it.

This lego is AWESOME it comes with Anakin and a vultre droid (droid Starfighter). I loved the coloring of both the Jedi Fighter and the Vulter Droid. This is a great set hands down. The vulter droid can transform into a walker droid with a twist and turn. Also The Jedi Fighter's wing's wing's can pivot.

Decals? Cool!,

Legos has taken a lesson from models and added decals to their kits. One negative point regarding the decals; the instructions telling where to put the decals are weak. Beyond that small point, this is yet another excellent set in the Star Wars Legos series.
The Vulture Droid part of this set is just okay. The Vulture Droid either looks like a small space ship, or you can rearrange it to make a droid that stands up. The side pieces swivel when in the ship configuration, and the legs swivel in the droid configuration. As I said, there is nothing special with this portion of the set. The Revenge of the Sith Jedi Starfighter is very cool. The wingtips fold for landing and you can position them in various aspects for flight. The wings also have a limited range of motion. The landing gear also moves into a stowed position for flight, which is really a nice feature because it makes the starfighter appear very streamlined. The cockpit opens so that Annakin Skywalker can get in and out of the starfighter. Annakin also has a light saber that comes with this kit. The light saber can be a pain to get into the cockpit, so I stuck it on a little piece that is part of the wing. Other reviewers seem to dwell on the fragility of this set. The Vulture Droid is not fragile at all. The starfighter is a little fragile. There are a couple of pieces that seem to want to come off a bit too easily. However, with a little care the pieces will stay on nicely. A little bit of fragility is the price you pay for having a lot of features and details. The Sith Jedi Starfighter is a nice addition to a collection of Star Wars Legos. I think of the Vulture Droid as a bonus. You need this cost effective set for your collection. Enjoy!

This is really a fun set, it's very rare that you get a LEGO set that you can play with by its self. The Vulture Droid is really cool, it can convert to walking mode or battle mode, and Anakin's Jedi Starfighter is fun. It's smaller the Episode II starfighter and more to scale with the minifigures. The set only comes with one minifig but is still a great value for the price.

I have Saved Up For This Toy For A long Time And once i bought it, i found out that it is only About 7 or 6 inches big! of course i was a little dissapointed but i guess i can cut som slack and say that it is fun to play with... but still dont waste ur money on a 10$ object and keep saving till You can get The ARC-170, not to mention a MUCH better LEGO set.

This toy is way cool. The cockpit, when I open it, I find it intriuging for I find there is no noise and I love that.I also like how durable the vulture droid is. I once Dropped it, it dident break. The anikin, he can be quite posable. I loved the moving wings, solar panels, and last but not least, the landing legs. The only draw back is having to put the stickers on. Other than that that its awsome.

This kit can be found usually for $15-$20 and contains the two ships and an Anakin lego with lightsaber. My son loves the figure as much as the ships! The Vulture droid is much more stable than the Starfighter and works very well. The Starfighter is very cool, but the wings tend to detach during play. Hey...its a Lego...not a plastic toy. Just snap it all back together and fly on! A good kit at a good price.

Durability...come on, it's legos...some piece is always falling off of something you build, but one kind of expects that with these...that said, my son really enjoyed this for Christmas this year. He received about 5 different sets including that big weird Slave 1 ship that I got at a steal for $20.00 on clearance! It ONLY took him and I an hour to put that thing together, LOL!

My boys love starwars and legos. They have not been disappointed with a set yet. I have 9 and 5 year old boys and they and their friends play with them all the time. Their dad loves to get in there with them too- especially before all the pieces are mixed up with all the other sets.
