My son 6 has been a Star Wars fan for years, when we brought this Lego set home for him as a gift since we had been on a trip, he went nuts! It was a little hard for him to put together so my husband had to help.. but once together he has enjoyed hours and hours of fun...acting out scenes..it is great for the imagination! I am thinking about buying it for my nephews ages 6 and 8.

This Lego set leaves little to be desired. It is very simple to put together and with hardly any moving parts. Lego can sometimes make disappointing features. There are two doors that open up on the podracer itself but once open all you see is a black block. A nice little engine or motor part would enchance the fun of this feature considerably. This set may be good to get some SW Lego characters like Padme and Qui Gon Jin, but I would suggest any avid Lego collector go for the Pod Race Set from Lego. Not only does it contain this plus two awesome pod racers, it is better value for your money.

I think this toy is fun and realistic . It does look like the podracer Anakin had in Star Wars. My friend and I love crashing our podracers together and racing them. trust me this is a must buy.

Yeah i don't think this toy is that detailed either but it is fun to play with. I wish they at least made clear peices connecting the pod to the engines. It would look alot better that way. After buying this and being dissapointed i am now only spending my money on the Ultimate Star Wars Collectors edition which features the xiwing and tie-interceptor that are very sleek and cool looking. they come out in june and i am buyiing almost every set.

I got this lego set because well I'm a big starwars freak! And when I opened the box I built it real fast. Once it was built I put it on a shelf and loved it! But it is also fun to play with! Thanks for reading my review!

The model looks okay, its overall pretty sturdy and you can zoom around and adjust the front engine foils and side flaps. The thing that bothers me the most is that tan bar used to support the entire model. I wish There was another way to handle this and also to raise the pod itself up a bit from the engines. I'm sure its fun to get a podracer to customize and re-enact the scenes, but then I'd rather invest into the 3 podracer set that includes this model, along with Sebubla's and another.
I felt I had to get this model since its so iconic to the movie; but if I was to choose again, I dont think I'd bother with this model

This toy was fun but not as durable as other Lego toys. This one comes apart easily and you have to be careful with it when you play. It's not as educational as other Legos either.
