The Separtist Shuttle is a nice mid-size Lego vehicle. You're 6 yr. old on up should have no trouble putting this together. It has a nice design (almost 'insectoid' in appearance) and a neat rear opening sliding door.

Pro's-Ship design, opening front cockpit with a blue bodied Battle Droid pilot, retractable front and rear landing gear, a clever technic system that opens a sliding rear door to reveal a small chamber which holds a Nute Gunray mini figure which can be slide out. Also comes with 2 regular Battle Droids and an Onaconda Farr mini-figure(nice head sculpt of Greedo). Also of note is that I like how Lego designed the rear tail fin to be hollow so as the attenae on the front opening cockpit won't interfere with opening and closing.

Cons's-Really none except that the cockpit is quite bare. Could've used some elements of design to show working controls, lights, etc. No biggie. Anyone can modify the cockpit to add details to it.

Final note, note sure but perhaps someone can clarify...I believe the Nute Gunray and Onaconda Farr mini-figures are exclusive to this set.

My 5 year old son loved it. He's been looking at for several months now. He's really into legos and star wars and this is 10 lego kit that he has put together, so he was able to do 95% of it himself. I just checked on it every once in a while to make sure it was going well. He is having a good time playing with it and it has stayed together relatively well while it is "flying" through the house.

My 6 year old grandson has become fascinated with legos and can put the 7-12 age sets together without help. This set was a hit with him. He played with it for 4 days straight and even dismantled it and reassembled it. This particular set is just the right size and price for what you get. I will continue to order lego sets from Amazon as long as my grandson has the interest.

I tried to help my little cousin put this together. I'm not very good at putting together Lego sets as I never really put them together as a kid. Luckily he's a real wiz so I got to enjoy watching him put it together. He's 10 and got it together pretty much all by himself. Fantastic Lego kit for any Star Wars fan! I love the figures that are included. You can use them with other sets so I always view them as a bonus!

I purchased this Star Wars Lego for my 6-year old grandson. He is a Star Wars enthusiast, and will spend hours playing with his many "star ships", whether he is alone or with friends. It was a challenge for him to assemble, but with some adult play time, we both enjoyed our success. Thanks Legos for your excellent instructions. I know these toys will be a constant in his life for many years. He loves them!!

My mom purchased this for me at TJ-Maxx, and I built it in a hour. It was amazing.

Pros: Opening and closing cockpit, exclusive Onaconda Farr and Nute Gunray minifigures, retractable landing gear.

Cons: Only seats two, VERY fragile (the back pieces near the fin keep falling off.

So, I love it, except for those two cons, and will be hoping to get the T-6 Jedi Shuttle too!
