This is definitely one of those Lego sets that makes you wish you worked for them- the Lego Han Solo in carbonite is hilarious, and the Lego Boba Fett is very well done, with the possible exception that his head is merely a black Lego man head, so keep that helmet on. The ship is extremely well done, with the wings being put on a swivel balance that lets them maintain horizontal orientation whether in landing or flying mode. Very clever... Surprisingly few cheater pieces- pieces made exclusively for this set alone. Of course Boba Fetts' armour is an exception. All in all, I feel this is THE Lego Star Wars set to own.

I've always had mixed feeling about the SlaveI vehicle; but this set does accurately capture most of the playability of any SlaveI model. It does come with a cool carbonite Han piece that does load in and out easily thru a back ramp. The back ramp could've been done a little more thoroughly, it seems that rear section is missing a few bricks or something. The cockpit is nice, but as the actual ship very odd fitting the pilot in. Of course, the best thing about this set is the awesome Boba Fett mini-fig. A nice set to have, but not a must, imo. (get the Boba Fett from the catalogue mini-fig set and put him on your skiff)

Comparing the low cost with the toy, it's great... has a really cool Boba Fett and the frozen Han Solo is also very nice. It's a small toy with no too many pieces but the ship looks great in a collection.

This building set is a very good addition to the LEGO Star Wars series. The bricks are big, and many of them are inclined planes. This set can give you a lot of enjoyment if you take your time in building it. And after it is done it is very fun to play with. This ship has a drop-down ramp, a frozen Han Solo, moving guns, and the wings seem to be gyroscopic. It also has a couple of new pieces that I haven't seen before. It probably would be even more fun for really big Star Wars fans. It's a very good model.I do not understand why people make such a big deal about the little Bobba Fett figure that is included in this set. You may disagree with me on this, but I see this Slave I toy as just another fun LEGO product, not an exclusive 'Fett' collectible. The Bobba Fett figure is cool, but like all LEGO people he is very small. My suggestion is: if you are a LEGO fan, or are adequately interested in LEGOs, consider buying it as a cool toy. However, if you are a major Bobba Fett fan, buy it as a Bobba Fett toy.

finally who would have ever thought that boba fett would be so huge... i was so happy to hear that they introduced star wars into the lego realm and evenhappier to see fett get his slave one and figure made. i mean when u loook at the concept of this, well u have to be impressed. the figureof boba fett is great and even better the han solo in carbonite that comes with the slave I. i was just really excited and happy to this get created. as far as that is concerned there is not much more to say, this things is just as nice as all the other lego packages but what makesit stand out is the fact that it is the one and only boba fett... a sure purchase for any lego/star wars collector.

Get over the neat Boba Fett mini-fig and the rest of this set is pretty tame. Articulated wings are nice, but the tail mounted cannon are wimpy and the details are limited. "Frozen in carbonite Han Solo" is very cool, however, and please excuse the unintentional pun.Not too exciting if you don't have other sets to compliment, but a solid (and inexpensive) addition to an existing collection. Green and brown blocks are good to have also; it seems like this set is something less than the sum of its parts. Which is not too many, incidently; this is not a good basis for a growing collection. Buy the X-Wing first, and the Y-Wing/Darth Vader TIE if you can afford them. These have a nice balance of part count and substance. Then the Snowspeeder or a B-Wing. The Slave I comes in as a very secondary set to all but Boba Fett fanatics.

This LEGO set is extremely well put together, as are all of the Star Wars LEGO toys. The attention to detail is very impressive, and the little LEGO Han Solo encased in carbonite brings a smile to my face every time I see it. This is a must for any Star Wars fan!

Great set. The Boba Fett figure and the Han Solo in carbonite brick are great. Only two gripes; Boba Fett's head brick is a plain black piece, and the ship has only forward blaster cannons. In the movies and comics, it has cannons, torpedoes, and ion cannons. Overall, a must get for Fett fans. I also reccomend the Episode II Slave I set.

Not as beastly as the Ep. II version, this set is sweet anyway. With a Boba Fett action figure it becomes possible to apply paints and make an Open Seasons Jango Fett to go with a Mandalorian army squad, a good buy, and its cheap too!!!
