I'm 10 years old. Legos are very fun to me. This product was very fun to build. Some parts were tricky, but I figured them out. After I built it, it came apart a little as I was playing with it, but I put it back together. Try not to play with it too much. The fun is more in building it, not in playing with it.

I think that this set captures the essence of one of the Rebel Alliance's best joint strike fighters, besides the X-Wing. It's very durable.
It looks like the real thing, too, with all the inner workings exposed for easy maintanence. I turned the bombs into lights on the area between the engines and the main fuselage. After everything's been said and done, this is the best set I've ever gotten.

this is awesome--my son adores it and loves playing with it. he at 7 was able to make it himself and it is great. buy it for your star wars/lego fan!

The Rebel Y-Wing is a far superior model, in appearance and legacy, to the Clone-Wars version.

The Rebel kit requires a little more manual exterity to assemble, but it is well worth it to not have yet ANOTHER Anakin and Asokha pair...

I bought this for my son last year at Christmas. He was 9 then and built the toy right away. He assembled it by himself in no time (as other mentioned). However that did not diminish the value. He had a great sense of pride in the fact he built it. After a month or so we made him disassemble it and put it away. But this Summer he assembled it again and played with it for 2 months. Wonderful toy.

My son picked this out as something he wanted for Christmas and was absolutely delighted with it. Of course he finished it much faster than I would have wanted . . . but he enjoyed it immensely, and it will soon be disassembled for reassembly sometime in the future.

Out of all the Lego Star Wars ships, this is my favorite one. So easy to put together, but magnificent in its detail. Of course its Lego, and that means it will last forever. Anyone who is a collector, or even just wants to play with them will be thrilled with this model.

This thing is huge! The price is also huge but thats what you expect from lego. It stays together pretty well, btw, did i mention it was friggin huge!

As usual a very good product. Sufficiently complex to challenge and to oocupy our grandson's time and yet simple enough that he can accomplish the task with minimum assistance. Fits together very nicely with good durability.

My son has loved the Y-Wing fighter in the movies. This set is FANTASTIC! I've been a fan of Legos since I was a kid and have had many sets. Some are better than others, and some are a little flimsy if they are going to be played with - this one has held up really well. It is also really authentic looking - very detailed. Overall VERY happy with this set.
