Most of us LEGO fans have always dreamed of creating an army of little green men, and after years of wishful pondering, it's finally possible!
As depicted in the Amazon stock photo, this set comes with 4 minifgs (3 soldiers and 1 medic). The medic is identical in every way to the others with the exception of a cross printed on his helmet.
Accessories consist of: 2 radios, 2 binoculars, 2 rifles, 1 backpack, 1 briefcase (opens), 1 mine detector, 4 base plates, and 1 stretcher.
The vehicle itself is well built and compact, and as such, can withstand much play without disassembling -- perfect for your young LEGO enthusiasts!

I had originally overlooked the Lego Toy Story Army Men on Patrol set, thinking the army men wouldn't be that interesting to my son (even though he loves Toy Story and Lego). His grandmother bought him the set though, and I must say I'm surprised at how much he is enjoying it. The set comes with a jeep and four soldiers with various accessories.

Complexity: This is a really basic set, so it took little time to assemble. There are enough tiny parts to frustrate younger builders like my son, but he had fun assembling the army men.

Playability: This is just a fun set all around. With the variety of army men - soldiers, medic, mine sweeper - and the accessories you can have all sorts of adventures. And since the soldiers' feet aren't stuck to the bases you can substitute a few yellow minifigure heads and incorporate the set into the Lego City theme.

The Lego Toy Story Army Men on Patrol set was a pleasant surprise. It works in the Toy Story context, and is a lot of fun as a stand-alone set.

Lego has traditionally been against the idea of creating "military"-style sets. Yes, they have always offered planes/helicopters/boats---but all in CIVILIAN style. Recently, the Indiana Jones series of sets offered some pseudo-military planes and vehicles and now FINALLY some Army Men!

My son immediately spent his hard-earned allowance to purchase 2 of these sets to start building his Lego army. Hopefully Lego will expand this series of sets soon!

I got this for my son for his 9th birthday. He was so excited to get it. But just so you know, these Lego army men are NOT all one piece. They are just like other Lego sets where they come in a million pieces and you get a diagram of how to put them together. I guess I thought this was going to be a box of little Lego army men that he would just open up and add them to his other Lego's. But actually, they are a Lego set them self that will need put together. My son loved doing it and was still thrilled with them.

People think lego and toy story dosn't go together... They say they will only get the army men set... because they think it's cool...

Yesterday, I got the army men on patrol at toys r us.
The box is like 7 inches. I think that this is cool
It comes with 4 army men, and a truck.
The army men are easy to put together... if you follow the insturtrons.
One of the army men wouldn't want to hold his stuff. "the broken one going to the amblance" finally, it stays.
There's one army man who has a white plus sign on his hat. He works with the amblance and carrys two things

This was my first lego toy set, buying it for $13 plus tax = $15.

As much as a marketing scheme this is, Toy Story x Legos x Army Men made me instantly want this as it was part of my childhood with Toy Story movies in the 90s. This is the better of a few lego sets out there. I'm still a sucker for stormtrooper legos.

I have always been fond of Legos and green army men. When this "Army men on patrol" set came out I really wanted it. When I got it I saw it wasn't just an ordinary Lego set. It was something more: something that mixed green army men and Legos together! I thought it might be a little bad, but it was great! I like to take off the medical trooper's backpack and take away his suitcase and make him a commander. But there some bad things about it. First, it comes with only two rifles. Second, there shouldn't be a metal detector. Third, there are too many extra supplies. But, in the end, it is one of my favorite Legos.

We purchased this Lego set for my 5 year old and he put it together within minutes. He loves his Legos. He hasn't played with it much since (he's moved on to intricate Star Wars Lego sets) but it really is a great toy. Especially if the child likes Toy Story.

My 6 yr old son constantly has his Ipod in his hand watching Youtube videos. He's seen older kids taking these Toy Story Army Men on Patrol and taking them apart and combining parts of them with parts from Star Wars figures and produces a "custom figure". We have purchased 8 packs of these so far and will probably be getting a few more before these retire from production. I have never been around Legos, growing up my brother never played with Legos so I am experiencing the joy of Legos for the first time with my son. This set is one of the more entertaining sets! Toy Story one of the greatest Pixar Movies & Lego combined how can you go wrong, it's a win win!!!

As an adult Lego fan, I was hesitant to get this set for a while. I liked it but wasn't sure if I wanted to actually buy it. However, I finally pulled the trigger and I do not regret it. I love all the green pieces and the 4 all green minifigs make it completely worth it! Great set as far as I'm concerned. If you're on the edge, GO FOR IT!
