I ordered this last week from Amazon. I got it today & installed it and got through the tutorials and a few levels of the game.

Everything looks and works like it did when I had it for my old Windows Me computer. I wanted to play it again and the price was fair.

It is a fun theme park game where you build a park and try to keep customers happy by adding a variety of rides, shops, places to eat, and vegatation. It recommends ages 6 to 12 but fun for older LegoLand fans as well.

For people with Windows XP/Vista:

I used Custom Install and chose everything (about 440 MB of space) for maximum compatibility but it ran fine in the normal install (220 MB).

It will not run in Windows Vista NATIVE MODE but all you have to do is right click on the icon and set it for Windows 98 compatibility mode. After that, it works fine. Windows XP/Vista has quite a few choices on programs made for older operating systems. In the case of LegoLand, I set it for "Run as Administrator" and "Windows 98/Me" compatibility. I had absolutely no problem with graphics, video, sound, timing or even game saves.

As always, it is recommended to download all Windows Updates so your computer is up to date.

I loved this game when I was younger, and I've been dying to play it again!
It's a really fun amusement park game, and the levels are pretty interesting.

ATTENTION 64-BIT USERS!!!
For 64-bit Vista and 7 users, you cannot INSTALL the game directly onto your computer, but it will PLAY on your computer! I transfered all the info on the game CD to a USB drive, and then used the USB to install the game on my netbook, which runs XP. I then transfered the now installed game files back onto my USB drive, and then plugged it into my 64-bit computer. And it worked!! Once the game is in its installed form, make sure you set the exe file to compatibility with XP, or it will crash.

This title will not work on computers with a 64 bit version of Vista or Windows 7. The publisher offers no support for this title, so there is nothing that can be done.

I bought this for my grandson to be able to play when he comes to visit; however, I recently bought a new computer and this game doesn't work on it because it runs on Windows 7. That was disappointing, but my grandson took the game home and is able to play it on his older computer and is having a great time with it (I rated the game by his enthusiasm). My advice to future buyers is to check to be sure the game can be played on the computer you intend it for.

Like the other reviewers, this wouldn't work on my computer. The box clearly states that it will work on Vista, but when I go to install it, it gives me an error that states that one of the files isn't "compatible with 64 bit Windows". I can't follow the other reviewers instructions, because it won't let me get any further than the error message. Stinks, because the kids were really looking forward to playing this one.

I purchased this only because of the fact that it stated it was compatible with Windows Vista operating system. It will not run on my Brand New high end computer. If you read the readme file that comes on the cd, there is not a mention of Vista....so if you have Vista - count on it not running properly!!!!
