The LEKI Nordic Walking Traveller features all of the traditional Nordic Walking performance, but in a compact, 3-section version that fits into your luggage, gym bag or brief case. 3-section, 7075 Series heat-treated Aluminum shafts adjust from 80-130cm and are the strongest available. Unique "Trigger" system provides unequalled support and power transfer with a strap that completely wraps and supports the hand and wrist; easily releases from the grip without having to take hand out of strap for convenience (removing clothing layers, tying shoes, reaching for water bottle). The award winning Super Lock System allows the pole length to be adjusted with the least amount of torque (hand strength) and offers the most secure "hold" of any other pole locking system in the world. Specially design rubber fitness tips offer traction on pavement and smooth surfaces. Carbide flextips are replaceable and offer the most secure traction when walking off-road. Sticks work well walking around neighborhood for long distances (70-90 min). Like everything about them - the cork handholds, the wrist straps with the quick release (VERY handy), the way it's easy to adjust the poles. DVD came in handy, too. Will give them five stars if they're still working this well in a year... Haven't used nordic walking sticks before, so can't compare to other brands, but these seem great to me.

I have had two knees and a hip replaced, and I was not able to walk well until I started walking with these poles. I started out slowly, and now I'm walking several miles a day. I also like the fact that they are adjustable. Great poles!
