Beautiful, August 21, 2010
First off, so there are won't be any confusion, THIS DOES NOT VIBRATE.
Craftsmanship/Design:
This is a beautiful piece of design. From a completely aesthetic and quality point of view it is gorgeous- no random sharp edges, no parting line, fluid form, perfect craftsmanship. The weight of it is also perfect. The texture is velvety, but it's made of silicone which is nonporous and very sanitary.
The packaging is so impressive... The outside box is white glossy card with awesome, minimalistic graphic of the product and all the specs of what's inside neatly printed on the side. Inside is a really nice black matte box (like the boxes some jewelry come in) with "Lelo" very subtly printed in glossy black letters. You open up to the product (I have 2 Lelo products.. so far ;)... and the packaging is consistently classy) displayed on a sturdy black plastic form. Underneath that is the booklet and a satin bag to keep your new toy in. The satin bag is not that great as it leaves lint on you toy, but it's a nice thought.
Function:
It was clearly designed by a woman, or at least someone who knows (not only thinks they know) exactly what needs to be stimulated to feel good. Like it's form and packaging, its stimulation is very subtle and is a gentle and gradual buildup (keep at it, just don't expect a raging orgasm within minutes). At first I thought that I wouldn't like the smooth texture because I like to feel it going in, not just have it pop in and that's it like with the smooth products, but the velvety texture of the silicone makes it so that you can actually feel it (again, very subtly) going in. If you're not one for subtlety (which I actually thought I wasn't), I suggest you try another toy first.
It is also double ended, one spot curved perfectly for g-spot location (I never knew I had one till I used this!) and the other end is an insertion end with a deceptively subtle "pleasure bump" down the center. Even though it's double ended, it is not for people who need to feel "filled up", as this is only about 4" circumference at it's thickest point and more like a g-spot stimulator on both ends. The "pleasure bump" looks like it's just part of the form purely for aesthetics, but trust me it is NOT just for aesthetics... it is placed perfectly to stimulate the nerve endings close to the g-spot and around the opening as you glide it in and out. You can tell a lot of thought went into the "features" and unlike the majority of toys in the market, they didn't just cast an erect penis or take a shape and stick random nubs and things on it or put an arbitrary bend to reach wherever they think the g-spot is. You get the feeling that actual research and testing of many iterations of the design went into this to find the optimal g-spot seeking object :).

nice material, weird shape, May 29, 2011
i really love the silicone material of this product. it's very easy to clean and doesn't soak up bacteria. the only problem i have is the shape..for some reason i cannot comfortably use the side for your g-spot right. it tends to feel a bit uncomfortable for me. i feel that if they made that side a bit smaller it may be better but it's a very high quality toy. very, very, nice materials and the other side works pretty well. :)
