My daughter loves these books. They are a little dark, but isn't life ;D The stories are excellent, as are the graphics. Roman Dirge does excellent work, and highly recommend if you don't want cookie cutter Disney crap. Check out his website and myspace..he's pretty cool. And I don't work for the guy, just a happy customer whose books delight my kids ( my son started reading them, much better than a lot of the drivel on the school list).
