Gorgeous, Creative, Inspiring. This will get your kitchen interesting real quick. And inspire you to be more playful with your food and family and friends. Every recipe I've tried has been delicious. I only wish I had bought the American version versus this British one as the measurements are different.

Generous, relaxed,just a little bit spicy. I could be describing Henry Dimbleby, who is all these things. His book is even more so. (And I must co-credit John Vincent too.) Browsing its pages is a mouth-watering delight - especially the party section - which made me instantly want to have quantities of folk round, not least to see what happened when they ate Henry's mother's alcohol soused cherry tomatoes canapes. I began in the children's section with the lamb and apricot meatballs and tested them on husband and daughter - who clamoured for them to be a weekly institution. So there you have it. Buy this and escape from the darkening evenings to flavoursome excellent eating.

I purchased this book looking for some new ides in the kitchen. I have masses of cookbooks but this one will be on the heavy rotation list. Love everything about it, the style, the substance - everything. Lots of recipes to make me hungry and the directions are clear and concise. Definitely recommend this book.

I got this book As a Gift for Christmas. I'm a big Jamie Oliver fan so my sister thought this might be similar to his recipes. It is and even a little better. I have made a large amount of the recipes in this book and I have loved everyone of them. They really are simple and healthy fast foods. My fave recipe in this book is roasted sweet potato with chorizo (in the tapas party food section) It is by far the best way I have eaten sweet potato. There is a lot of recipes in here you can make and just stick in the fridge for a snack when you are hungry. Lots of dips and bean salads....cheap but flavorful. I would recommend. It has a great selection of easy fast healthy recipes with not too expensive ingredients. Love it!

Very fun cookbook. It's a little different, if you're American. I found it to be captivating, with pictures and background stories, not to mention healthy recipes. I told myself I wouldn't buy any more cookbooks. So much for that!
