If you're familiar w/ the slim 514, then these are the ones for you! I had never heard of Tillys before, but now that Mervyns went out of business, I turned to Amazon & am so glad I did.
When Levis first came out w/ these (slightly before teens started going ultra-skinny w/ their denim) I was THRILLED because I'm a skinny tall-ish thin white boy w/ no butt & finally I found a style that looked fantastic on, & felt fantastic. They were the slimest guys jeans could get until recently when style dictated the unveiling of the new 511, which is so slim & tapered that I dont know how you would even put them on, but your 15-18 year will love 'em. **Consult the Levis website if you need help w/ the wash discriptions &/or colors, etc. --If you're unsure what type of jeans or fit you're looking for, ...I suggest ALWAYS to go down in person to try them on in order to get an idea of the different cuts, variety, & so on.**

These jean are advertised for young skinny people on some sites. I happen to like the look with dress shoes, even for a husky over 40 guy like my self + the X-wife said so.
