The NZXT 48013 Lexa Ultra light Aluminum Midtower is designed from the ground up to be symmetrical as part of the NZXT Classic Series line. The Lexa boasts a rigid but lightweight aluminum chassis. Its high-air-flow design with 1,100 RPM fans, while quiet, ensures cooling even for ambitious computing. Three thermal probes provide temperature readings to the illuminated LCD display, which helps you monitor your system's core components. The Lexa Midtower also offers removable filters for dust prevention, and screwless installation.

For easy single-handed transportation, the Lexa tower ships with a rugged carrying strap and a protective window cover. The 48013 Lexa is nVidia 8800GTX compatible, and offers two ports for USB 2.0, and a microphone port, IEEE 1394/FireWire port, and headphone jack.

Sharp looking, very light, plenty of room, great ventilation, screwless installation of drives and PCI cards.

I searched everywhere online for a way to change the temp display to Fahrenheit rather than Celsius. Several places said that it couldn't be done. WRONG! There is a jumper on the back of the LCD display that is un-jumped by default. Simply put the jumper onto BOTH pins and you will have a Fahrenheit display. :o)

very lightweight
very well built, a lot stronger than most cases in it's class
totally screwless design for the drives and cards
make sure you check measurements before you buy, it does not fit into a standard desk, the front sticks out pretty far

Nice all-around case. Tool-less drive install. Plenty of room. Cools well. Looks great In my opinion, although some people have told me it looks like an alien toaster... It is rather large. Better have a large desk, or plan on putting it on the floor. The stock fans annoyed me in that they use a molex plug. Other than that, no complaints.


My system. Q6600 @ 3.0 Evga 680i SLI MOBO. Scythe Infinity cooler. 2X Raptor 10,000 rpm drives. XfX 8600GTS (Soon to go wtih 8800gt). Silverstone modular 750Watt PS. 22'' Hanns G Widescreen monitor.
