Calogero has a career in the French pop-rock scene that extends over twenty years, firstly as a member of a highly successful pop trio (Les Charts) and latterly as both a credible songwriter and solo artist. For this album, Calogero asked a selection of French male singers and songwriters to compose the lyrics, including Dominique A, Dick Annegarn, Kent, Grand Corps Malade, Pierre Lapointe, Marc Lavoine, Pierre Pel— and Jean-Jacques Goldman. Includes the single 'C'Est Dit'.

I really like six tracks on this album- I especially like Tracks 1, 2,3,5 and 8 and 10. I have to say the rest of the tracks are ok if a little mellow for me. He has a very moody, sulty voice and the tracks I like have very catchy tunes. If you like French ballads with a bit of kick you will like this.

This is my second CD by Calogero. I have been enjoying it for the past weeks and I have to say it is a great pleasure. He is definitely one of the most talented contemporary French musicians. His music is light and airy but full of surprises with complex arrangements and a pleasant combination of soft and energetic tunes. If you like Sting, this is a good French version. It is also excellent for practicing my French skills! Highly recommended....
