From the Manufacturer
- Patented ejection system. The Model 110.5 features the same patented pulp ejection system created for the original Model 221 Pulp Ejector Juicer. This eliminates clogging problems by popping the pulp upward and dropping it through the rear of the juicer.
- Unique, compact design. The Model 110.5 has the same stunning design as the larger Model 221 Pulp Ejector. This more compact version--standing just 11-1/2 inches high--requires less counter space and is perfect for the space-challenged kitchen.
- Powerful efficiency. Despite its compact design, the Model 110.5 features a heavy-duty, universal motor, providing the most power and highest efficiency of any other juicer in its class.
- Affordable. Model 110.5 offers professional juicing at a most affordable price.
- Guaranteed quality, user-friendly ease. The L'equip Model 110.5 carries a six-year guarantee and is easy to clean. L'equip is committed to manufacturing the highest-quality, most user-friendly health appliances that not only perform well but have a unique design to complement any kitchen.

My wife and I juice everyday and the juicer is sooo easy to clean. Just put a plastic bag in the pulp receptacle and you're good to go. One less item to wash. We use a toothbrush on the blade basket and a regular sponge on the bowl. The blade/basket and bowl are stainless steel. Those infomercial juicers use cheap plastic wherever possible. Trust me, you're only paying for advertising with those TV juicers. This is the real deal. It's quieter than our blender and one large apple, 3 carrots and two oranges yields us two massive glasses of juice. It also has a small foot print. I bought one for my mother and my wife is getting one for her sister.
If you have a large family you might want to skip the mini and go for the regular sized L'Equip but many online reviews say that the mini is actually better for some reason. All I can say is that it is more than enough for a family of four. After a year, the blades are still sharp although not as sharp as new but still going strong. If you're looking for THE BEST JUICER for less than 100 bucks this is it!!
It handles everything well that I have tried including delicate leaf, hard and soft vegetables, several fruits and melons with seeds and rinds. The yield is good as shown by the dry pulp. Yield does depend on produce type and quality as with all juicers. The speed that the produce is pushed into the blade also affects it. Its power invites vigorous processing so press slowly and at a steady rate, as recommended in the manual, if you want more juice. And process different items in order of increasing tendency to clog the strainer and declining juice content.
Cleanup is easy except for the pulp basket. The sharp corners of this bat wing shaped container are hard to get to when hand cleaning -- this is no problem in the dishwasher or if you line it with a plastic bag to collect pulp to throw out as most do. I sometimes save the pulp, add water to make a slurry, season it and then drink or spoon it to get the extra fiber. It's not always appetizing but neither is Metamucil.
One reviewer pointed out that the plastic ring on top of the metal juice bowl provides a place for food residue to hide. The ring seems to fit tight and any gap there is too small see. I haven't seen any particles there after processing but they would be small since this area is exposed only to juice after passing through the strainer. To be safe, I rinse it immediately after juicing and run a toothbrush around the edge to loosen any residue that might be unseen after brushing the straner basket.
The manual is very concise. It only gives assembly and cleaning instructions along with some cursory juicing tips, so you may need a separate book for recipes and more tips.Read more ›
With that said, this L'Equip seems to do most things quite well and is an excellent compromise. I've owned a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and used a high-end Breville. I've also heavily researched Omega and Juiceman.
THE GOOD: It only takes a few minutes to clean which beats the LaLanne and Breville. You don't need a special tool or wrench to remove the basket/blade like on the LaLanne. It seems to be pretty happy juicing anything sane from leafy greens to hard carrots. The extraction seems quite good and the pulp is usually fairly dry. I've never had it go out of balance or clog up.
It's small and takes up a lot less space than most juicers. All the pieces are dishwasher safe. It has a much longer warranty than most and a replacement blade/basket is fairly cheap. It's not exactly quiet but it doesn't sound like a noisy shop tool either.
THE COMPROMISE: It's not as powerful as most bigger juicers. It slows down when feeding bigger items so you can't feed as fast as you could on a bigger juicer. But, in practice, that just means it might take a few more seconds per item. But you wouldn't want to make a half gallon of juice with this. It's much more suited to a glass or two.Read more ›
I did not buy this with juice in mind, rather I bought this to make dog food prep faster and easier, and it does exactly that. I went through 3 lbs of carrots in about 2 min, which is far faster than using the food processor, whose blade needed cleaning every 3 or 4 carrots. Still, I thought maybe $90 was too much money to spend just to process veggies for the dog once a week, and considered returning the juicer. But THEN out of curiosity I threw in a few pieces of fruit, just to see how it did...and I was hooked! I LOVE JUICING! I'd never juiced before because I love fruit, and would rather eat it than toss any part of it out. In fact, I eat several pieces of fruit a day. Well now, I eat several pieces a day, and drink several more! I can't get enough of all the delicious combinations: apricots, peaches, apples, carrots, grapes, whatever's cheap today, whatever's in season. I made the best bloody mary mix ever out of fresh tomatoes and celery! I make several glasses of juice per day and don't mind the cleanup.
We don't have a dishwasher, so cleanup has to be easy for me to use this several times a day.Read more ›

I just bought this juicer because of the good reviews. Mistake. I wish I could have seen it in person. I think the people using this have not had much experience with juicers. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Goldie

Some throw chunks of veggies out the feed shoot. Some are lousy at extracting juice (low yield, wet pulp). Some are a nightmare to clean. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Volo Marilee
