This piece first found me when I was in the army serving in Africa when I was twenty one. I used to like to watch the sun go down listening to this tune. It gave me hope that soon I would be going home and leaving the army. After I left the army I got involved with a girl who I was with for three and a half years. Recently I was recalled to go and serve in Iraq and whilst I was training for this she ran off with someone else. Once again I felt I was in a hopeless situation and somehow the mini disc I had with this tune on it resurfaced. I wouldn?t say I?m out of the dark yet but I find I can smile again. Esperanza breathes hope and life back into you. It goes above and beyond most trance and actually evokes distant memories. If you haven?t heard it yet you?ve missed out.

I don't often exaggerate, and do not intend to start now. In all honesty I can say that L'Esperanza is one of the best tunes ever to be produced. The soaring synths not only send shivers down the spine, they induce tears on the dancefloor. Such emotion occurred on a number of occasions in English clubs upon the first play of Airscape's trance wonder, whereby many clubbers were reduced to tears due to the sheer emotion L'esperanza invokes. This truly is a gem, and I simply cannot put into words how much I adore this masterful, wondrous piece of music - if you're a trance fan, or even just a fan of pop-dance a la Amber et al - you need this in your collection as it will make you feel invigorated and alive.

I was first introduced to Airscape on a comp disc, and have loved them since. The sound is a modern day symphony, and when I say symphony, I mean that the sound is woven into layers and sublayers, that draws you and leaves you wanting more. Electronic composition at its best and a great electronic anthem.
