Is any buyer experiancing screen damage as received for this model. Forums describe peeling/shattered screencorner issues on the 55LB7200. Apr 29, 2014
Yes, I received my TV on 04-17 from the carrier,Pilot. There was a small crack on the edge of up-left corner of the screen right out of box. I refused to sign off the package and called Amazon right away for a replacement. Still waiting for this TV to be back in stock and delivered to me.....
Do you notice what seems to be a burnt screen on the sides? It's faint but far more noticeable when turning it on and off. Apr 22, 2014
I do not notice anything like that on my display. So far, for me, this is a really good TV.
The feet on the 55LB7200 are angled slightly, with the widest spread being just a little bit more than 47 inches. If you intend to place the TV on a flat surface with no side walls then this just barely fits, but it would make me a bit "nervous". If the TV is to go on a "shelf" inside an entertainment center then you are out of luck unless you can find 1/4" more width (or can do your custom feet attachments).
The product info says there is a headphone input, but I can't find it. Is there one on this set, and if so, where? Thanks. Apr 28, 2014
Yes, I was disappointed to find out that the 3.5mm jack on the unit does not function as a headphone jack and says "Service only" , it is located next to the S/PDIF port .. so much for connecting a 2.1 speaker setup
I looked up the following information at LG.com for the 55LB7200: Shipping weight: 52.9 pounds. This was the only shipping weight I could find. TV was packed in the original packaging from the factory when it was delivered and unpacked at my home. If you want to find additional information about the TV, go to LG.com and search for 55LB7200 and look under the "Technical Specs." Plus you will find a lot of other information about the TV there. If there is anything else I can help you with, ask another question. Hope this info helps you. I am really glad I purchased this TV. Love it!!!!
Will a ~3inch tall sound bar sit in front of the tv without blocking view of the bottom of the screen ? 3 days ago
Just barely, but I think the remote sensor is located at the bottom of the TV and if that is the case, the sound bar will block that. Have you considered mounting your sound bar on the wall above the TV? I have mine installed that way and it looks and sounds great.
I just put my 60 inch LG TV above my fireplace. I used the Universal Heavy Duty Premium Tilt mounting plate for 60 inch TV's. I bought it on Amazon and it cost $38.99. It is simple and tilts the TV about 3 inches down. That was three weeks ago and everything works great.
