My only worry with the clip-on glasses before buying them was whether or not they'd fit with the Rx glasses I currently own. These are sort of "square" frames and I kind of felt like I was taking a risk in getting these. To my surprise and delight, the LG clip-ons fit perfectly. I was also concerned that the part that clips on to the Rx glasses would get in the way of the picture. Basically it's a little arm for each lens, that holds the clip-ons over your regular glasses. From the pictures on Amazon (and the few that I could actually find on Google images) you can't really tell how much of your view the clip-on glasses would obstruct.
Fortunately, they don't get in the way the movie picture at all. When wearing them, you can certainly see the clip-on arms on the inner periphery (or whatever that's called!) of your vision and see the arms. But viewing the movie with one eye open at a time to see, I could see the full movie image (in either eye) without the clip-on arm butting into the movie image.
The only thing to note is that these are fairly flimsy and might break easily if you're not careful--they don't have a frame around them, so the plastic would bend/snap fairly easily if you're not paying attention and leave them in a bad spot. Aside from that my only other complaint is that the clip-on mechanism is a bit silly looking, like something out of the 80s.Read more ›

These are much better made than LG's newer clip on 3d glass. They thick lenses and better fittings.Published 12 months ago by JDSeelig
