3D for the price of...,
This review is from: LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses for 2010 LG 3D HDTVs (Electronics)
Got 4 of these with the LG LX6500 Combo Package.
The quality of the glasses are top notch. They are definitely not like the flimsy glasses from the theater. THEY ARE ACTIVE SHUTTER. (That means little magical creatures inside each lens opens and closes the blinds so fast that the naked eye cant see it happening! And they have to do this opposite from each other! that must be why they're so expensive. Well sorta...) They paired well with the 47LX6500. I have only watched free Comcast 3D movies and noticed a little ghosting, although very minor. This is probably attributed to the quality of the programming. I have yet to buy a 3D bluray so I haven't had a chance to test the glasses in that way. The 3D effect should improve with the quality of the media. Also, ambient lighting is sometimes an issue. One thing to note is that these only come with USB Charging cables. This is mainly a problem for me since I don't have 4 USB wall chargers handy. I have to either use my single iphone charging cube or plug them into my computer. 4 of them... (Could be worse I guess; could have only come with 1 USB charging cable for all 4) The price is expensive for the 3D experience. I probably would have sacrificed 3D if not for this great combo deal. The price of active shutter glasses will probably be something that will prevent 3D from becoming more mainstream, for now. Would people buy this experience for their family at ~ $100 - $200 a pop? Would have given 5 stars if not for the MSRP price (1/2 star) and the USB cables (another 1/2 star).

Not much to say about these, they're just 3D glasses. They're not meant to be stylish, just functional.
So, as far as the function goes, I think they could maybe be a little bigger. I guess I have a wide head? (I wear a 7 1/2" fitted baseball cap.) However, I find if I put some of my hair between the arms and my head, it greatly improves the comfort. Also, my glasses seem to "hiccup" and drop the signal from the TV for an instant once every half-hour or so. Otherwise, they appear to do their job just fine! Oh: and, while writing this, I realized that it might be a good idea to try these out over my prescription glasses (as I wear contacts most all the time). They fit fine over my prescription glasses. That is all!

I bought these for a home theater installation. They work great. I don't know how reliable they are, I only used them a few times. They worked great with the LG TV I bought. The 3D effect is really coo but you look like a dork wearing them.
The thing that annoyed me is the charging, You have to open this microscopic plastic door and plug in this little USB cable (a special proprietary one? I didn't recognize it as the mini USB or newer micro USB). I bought three pairs of these glasses. Where do you keep all the USB cables and where do you get USB ports near your home theater? Hey LG how about a charging cradle? I just spent $3000 on a television why do I have to fiddle with ugly wires and little plastic doors? I went and bought a USB hub so all the glasses could charge at once, but it looks like spaghetti in the cabinet. I guess its the price you pay for awesome 3D in your living room.

Mr Mikio needs a 3-D lesson,
This review is from: LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses for 2010 LG 3D HDTVs (Electronics)
Mr Mikio's review is misleading. The glasses offered here are not the same as the glasses sold at local theaters. Theater glasses are "static" not "active", they will not work with home theater shutter technology. To experience LG's 3D technology you need a 2010 LG 3D-ready TV and LG's 3D Active Shutter Glasses. The wireless glasses communicate seamlessly with the TV via a built in emitter. The glasses themselves contain special liquid crystal lenses, which actively lighten and darken with the 3D content. The full 3D effect is created when each eye sees a slightly different image. Hope this helps.

Best 3D Glasses For The Best 3D Experience,
This review is from: LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses for 2010 LG 3D HDTVs (Electronics)
The LG AG- S100 3D glasses are by far the best out of all the 3D manufacturers.
Why ? #1. Because for one thing they're rechargeable, not all the others are. #2.They are the most normal looking of all the 3D glasses. #3.They have thicker sides which I like because it blocks some of the side lights, and that makes the picture better for me. Now I have saved the best for last.. #4. The Lowest Price Of Any 3D Glasses [...] I wanted the best 3D experience and, with the LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses along with your LG 3D TV you will get it. Note! Still Hot! After Christmas Item, If you wait.... The price will come down !!!

3D Glasses Need Side Shield,

I recently tried my 3D glasses for the first time. Everything worked well however they could use a side shield to prevent light entering from the side. If a light is on at the side or from behind it can be distracting and sometimes I can see a reflection on the lens.

If you are buying a 2011 LG TV you may need a different model of glasses. Check the owner's manual before purchasing

They work and they're rechargeable. Not the most comfortable things in the world, but I've tried other brands' glasses and these are as comfortable or better. The big plus with these over other brands (besides the fact that these are the only ones that are supposed to work with the LG 3D TVs) is that they are rechargeable. Plus, they were partially charged right out of the box so there's no need to wait long to see your TV in 3D. Haven't spent hours with them, but they seem to work. Oh and another nice feature is that they brighten when you look away from the TV. That is to say, they darken and start to work when you're looking at the TV and they automatically brighten and/or stop working when you look away. Smart.

LG 3D Glasses,
This review is from: LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses for 2010 LG 3D HDTVs (Electronics)
These work pretty good. The battery lasts for quite awhile. The only issue i have is sometimes the glasses flicker or hiccup while watching the movie. Its just a quick blink but its enough to make you notice. Would buy more for my collection but def not worth the $130 at retailers.

we finally got a good set of glasses. Have impressed our friends with the excellent results. One good result is these glasses turn them self off when you end the 3D show.
