Stay Away from LG Stand Alone Recorders,

My wife's just failed after about 13 months. Left her with several un-finalized disks that work in anything else. Since it was out of warranty, I pulled it apart. Power board burned. No heat sinks any where. No active cooling. This was supposed to be a top of line model when she made her selection. Had lots of nice features that she wanted. What a shame. All these companies should have some kind of internal pictures on line so you can judge the quality. Now it has to be expensively recycled instead of providing my wife years of service.
