This DVD player is very basic, only has RCA type connections (no component, no s-video, no HDMI). I don't really mind since I bought it for two purposes that have so far worked like a charm. The Karaoke feature will read CD-G discs and the two front mic connections allow for a fun time singing your cares away. This DVD player has been modified to be multi-region, and so far I've had no problems with it. The player's packaging is labeled as Region 2, but I was able to play region 1 discs in it.
The remote is very small and some people might not like the small buttons. I was pleased with it, and it runs on a single AAA battery. I would recommend this if you want the Karaoke or multi-region feature.

Didn't hook it up because no 1080p upconverting so if ,like me, 1080p upconverting is important do not order this unit..
