The L1910 supports both analog RGB and DVI-D digital signals via its 15-pin mini D-sub and DVI-D connections. It is plug-and-play compatible, making setup quick and easy. The onscreen menus provide access to the monitor's many settings, while a hard coating, anti-glare screen treatment helps to reduce reflections and the resulting eyestrain.
TCO'99 and Energy Star compliant, the L1910 consumes about 43 watts during normal operation and just 3 watts on standby. With its 16.3-by-8.8-inch footprint, the monitor fits easily onto your desktop, and with the wall-mount option, you can free up valuable space for other uses. Compatible with both PC and Mac operating platforms (a Mac adapter may be required), the L1910 comes backed by a three-year quick swap warranty.

I got mine on Monday and I already love it. I replaced a smaller flat panel and an old (and huge!) 17" CRT I had and my studio looks more spacious. I also bought a KVM and I am sharing the LG L1910 among an XP and a Linux machine. Switching is smooth, no clicks or sounds, like if the monitor didn't even notice it. Even though Linux does not automatically recognize it when probing you can just "define" it based on the specifications which you can find right here at Amazon.
It is very bright and the contrast is great. I'd say images look a lot brighter and better in the new LG than in any of my old monitors (a 17" CRT Viewsonic and a 15" flat panel Dell). Having the additional desk space is great too. It's been only 5 days but so far, so good....we'll see.

This review is from: LG Electronics L1910BK 19" LCD Monitor (Black) (Electronics)
I've been needing another LCD for my second PC and after much searching and reading I decided to try this LG unit. I've had this display for over two months now and it's very nice to view. I already have an NEC LCD 1960NX, but that has been discontinued and I wanted as close to the NEC as possible. The LG is nearly the same unit. Both have VGA and DVI inputs, the screens do not glare. The only REAL difference is that the LG does not have a stand that can be raised up and down, it tilts and swivels, but does not have vertical sliding stand. I have not found this to be a problem so far. Also, the power supplies are internal to the panel and for me that's a must; no stupid power block laying around. I only see 1 dead pixel and it's in a spot that's not bothering to my eyes. My NEC has 3 dead pixels, so the quality is apparenlty getting better even though the price of the NEC 18 months ago was almost double what this LG costs. This also has USB 1.1 ports on the stand (my NEC does not). It also comes with DVI cable too, again, the NEC did not and look how much more that NEC cost back then and it did not have USB ports nor DVI cable included.
Enjoy your new display!!!
