The CRT, an FST Hitachi with an invar shadow mask, has an antiglare, antireflective, antistatic coating to improve picture quality and help reduce eye-strain.

The 995E offers a maximum resolution of 1,600 x 1,200 combined with a dot pitch of 0.26 millimeters and high refresh rates (up to 200 Hz for lower resolutions). Its sharp flicker-free images make the 995E an ideal choice for desktop publishing, spreadsheets, high-end graphics, and many other image-intensive applications.

Adjusting the settings is easy, thanks to an accessible front panel and onscreen digital controls with 12 factory presets and 24 user-definable modes. A plug-and-play design makes setup a snap.
