THe headset fit tight around the back of the head and on top of the ears...very uncomfortable...

She told me she would send me an RMA for the return and they would process a refund as soon as they got the product back.

I found complaints about the "too snug" head fit, and how the different ear buds made the fit perfect.

I've read a LOT of reviews on this product and I have to sum up a lot of the negative reviews and comment on them. Too many of the negative comments aren't worth reading because these people didn't take the time to get to know their headset and actually use them in normal circumstances.

Overall, I love this headset - it does exactly what it's supposed to do and sounds great. Listening to music, talking on the phone, everything is very clear and loud. I would suggest that people do NOT place a review on a product they used once and returned, and that you don't listen to reviews from people who did that. You can't blame the item if the one you bought was broken, either. This is why I read several reviews of different rankings before I decide on an item. I bought these headphones last summer (about 7 months ago) to work out with at the gym. I did not buy them on Amazon as I had a gift card to a competitor - but I have the exact same headset that is pictured here (with the red highlights near the ear buds, I've read that this means they are the "trainer" version, but they're the exact same headset as the ones with the white/grey highlights that are selling now except for the color of course).

Now I'm going to kind of write the rest of this review in reverse - I'm going to write what others are complaining about and make my own comments:

1) Fits Poorly - mine fit great and I do not have a small head. I'm a "big and tall" guy and sure, they may be a LITTLE snug but I like that and need that. If they were much looser I'd be worrying about them falling off - people have to take that into account for a product that has a battery in it and has no cords or anything to keep them on your head other than that snugness.

Not worth the price Tag. Below are main difference between HSB800 And HSB 730.I am factoring price in rating this product. No complaints on sound .

1 Noise cancellation: Though this headset got built in noise cancellation, but its not significant and doesnt justify the price. When playing music both headset performs equally. But when there is no music hsb800 handles noise better. But i dont think this is as good as full size headsets.
2 Design: Hsb 800 got some design changes. They have placed the volume buttons and forward buttons to the side of headset where as its on top of hsb 730. the size of buttons are very minimal and makes it difficult to find when not looking directly. So i prefer control buttons hsb 730. Once used to it ,i guess it doesnt make much difference among these two.
3 SOUND JBL Signature: I feel either there is no JBL signature on hsb 800 or it was already implemented on hsb 730. For me i didnt get any difference among these 2 headsets in regard to sound quality.
4 Price: I will buy this for the price of 69 but any thing more makes the upgrades insignificant. So i prefer hsb 730 for 40$ then 129 price of hsb 800.
5 Battery: there is no difference in battery consumption. Both headsets gives 10 hours play back.
6 Weight. May be this is lighter. but hsb 730 also never reminded me of weight. So even weight reduced but it may not makes any difference.

I originally purchased the HBS-730 to use while working out and loved it! Let me start by saying that I sweat a lot more than the average person, and prior to purchasing the HBS-730, I tried headsets by Jarba, Plantronics, Motorola, Phillips, and Jaybird; of all of those Bluetooth headsets, the LG was the only one that didn't stop working within 2 weeks. Not only has it held up for through around 2 years of abuse, but it still produces a sound quality far superior to any I observed with the competition. So when I discovered that LG released an "upgraded" model, I didn't think twice about giving it a try and passing my HBS-730 off to my girlfriend. Unfortunately, this was a huge mistake on my part.

The things that were good about the HBS-800 vs. the HBS-730 include: a slightly more appealing design, the blinking light that indicates the device is powered on is smaller and in a different location, and that the wires that connect to the earpiece didn't coil and tangle.

The things that were not any different about the HBS-800 vs. the HBS-730 include: the sound quality, the range that the headset can travel from my phone while maintaining a good connection, and the amount of background noise I could hear while wearing the device.

The things that were worse about the HBS-800 vs. the HBS-730 include:
1.) The microphone will occasionally just stop working mid-conversation.
2.) The buttons that control the volume, and that skip to the next song are much less user friendly.
3.) The magnetic area that houses the earpieces when they aren't being used is now found on the underside of the device, which makes it next to impossible to reinsert the earpieces after using the device without lifting it completely off your neck.
4.

When I first started using these, I thought I was going to have to return them. They connected easily to my Android phone, and sounded good with Pandora, bTunes, even on phone calls. They even sounded great. The problem was they hurt my outer ears a lot. There was tremendous pressure on the tops of my ears. Obviously, I tried to adjust the fit, in accordance with the directions and the picture on the Motorola website of someone wearing them. Nothing seemed to work. Today, after running 7 miles in them, I decided to return them. 10 minutes later, I realized that the part that was hitting the top of my ears was supposed to go behind the ears. They now feel great, and I'll definitely be keeping them. They even sound better when worn correctly.

Before you discount what I'm saying, or assume that I'm a complete moron for not knowing how to wear headphones, be warned that the directions for wearing them, and the picture on the Motorola website imply that you are supposed to wear them incorrectly.

Now that I'm wearing them correctly, here are the things they do well:
+ Sound Great
+ Connect easily
+ Switch between calls and music seamlessly
+ Feel comfortable, though they are quite a bit heavier than any other headphones, even the older Motorlas (S-9 and S9-HD)
+ Very well made.
+ The battery life is exceptional and you can charge it off micro-USB.

The owner's manual is pretty much useless. The format is tiny, and they put more effort into being hip than providing a useful manual for the product. Fortunately, it is intuitive to use.

The price on these is reasonable, considering what you get and what it can do.
