Best price/value combination on the market., March 31, 2006
This review is from: LG Flatron L1951S-BN 19" LCD Monitor (Black) (Electronics)
LG makes great stuff and this is a perfect example. You get a 19" top-quality monitor for under $300! The auto-adjust feature is great - one touch and it adjusts to your computer's output and is perfect. Colors are natural and screen in very bright. Also thin bezel around the monitor which I personally like. All in all, I searched for some time for the right monitors and always came back to these LG's.

Great product but HORRIBLE service., January 12, 2007
This review is from: LG Flatron L1951S-BN 19" LCD Monitor (Black) (Electronics)
No doubt LG makes some of the best LCDs on the market, but their customer service is horrible. I purchased a LG monitor, paid a premium price for it because of a 3-year 48-hour 2-way shipping warranty. When my monitor failed, it took almost one month to receive the postage paid label after I made contacts with LG. After the monitor was returned to LG, I never heard back again. After countless of phones calls, I found out the model I have is out of stock, so LG shipped me a feature/spec DOWNGRADED monitor to a wrong address. I called a few more times, they acknowledged they don't have the exact mdoel monitor, and that a few features I am interested in are no longer available in current-year models, so they can only send me a downgrade. After more phone calls, LG finally agreed to buyback the monitor. After I confirmed this agreement, I purchased a replacement LCD monitor. Weeks gone by, never got a check for the buyback. After a few more phone calls, I was told they found a similar unit and shipped it to me, completely forgetting the fact we agreed to the buyback and I have already spent money buying a replacement. The drama continues...
Sometimes, I wish I had purchased one of those $99 low-end no-name monitor and not have to deal with all this nonsense with LG!
