Goodbye messy vacuum bags. The Kompressor® Dust Compression System uses a unique wiper blade within a large bag-less bin to compress dust and debris intake. It collects 3 times the dust of a standard vacuum and allows for an easier method of disposal.
DualForce+™ suction uses an enhanced motor and two additional air pathways to pick up dirt from both sides, in addition to the traditional center section. This allows you to capture dust and debris over a wide surface area, and is ideal for picking up dust in hard-to-reach edges.
Hard-to-reach spots just got easy. The Click 'N Go™ Wand detaches from the base—providing up to 15 feet of additional reach—for easier cleaning of stairs, upholstery, and other out-of-the-way spots.
If you're trying to vacuum the house, you don't want to spend precious time going back and forth adjusting settings. The RF Control™ lets you adjust power and settings remotely controlled—right from the Click 'N Go wand—without going back to the base.
You won't have to go through the bother of plugging and unplugging the vacuum when you have one of the longest cords around. At 40 feet, that means you have room to spare as well as time saved.

Easy to use and very versatile, with a few quibbles,
By Kurt A. Johnson (North-Central Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (TOP 100 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: LG Kompressor Upright Vacuum, Bagless, Blue, LuV300B (Kitchen)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
OK, this is going to be somewhat complicated, because the vacuum cleaner itself is somewhat complicated. It tries to be a combination of both an upright and a canister vacuum by use of a removable "wand," which forms the backbone of the vacuum.
UPRIGHT MODE: When you use it as an upright, it works pretty darn well. It removed an amazing amount of grit and other debris from my carpet that my last vacuum completely failed to remove. Now, the unit does have a safety feature, wherein the spinning brushes stop spinning if the top is too upright, and that is a little too sensitive for me. That is to say, sometimes I pull the unit back towards my foot, only to have it stop spinning. Nonetheless, that is a minor complaint - in general the vacuum worked wonders. CANISTER MODE: When you remove the "wand" you have an already attached (after your initial assembly) but removable pet hair turbine, which looks like a miniature upright, and you can extend the wand to get to the ceiling (for cobwebs) or the top of the drapes. The turbine doesn't bend easily for use on drapes, but that's OK, you can remove it and use a different attachment for those. My biggest problem with the wand is reattaching it to the base. Unless I am doing something wrong, I always find it just a little hard to get it in correctly on the first try, and if you don't get it in correctly you can't secure the wand and return to upright mode. It doesn't take more than a couple of seconds to reattach, but I do wish it was even easier. Nonetheless, I had no trouble using the wand in its various modes, and thought that it did a great job on my stairs (especially), ceilings and drapes. By the way, the hose on this vacuum stretches out quite nicely, meaning that you are not too tightly tethered to the base. EMPTYING: A very nice feature of this vacuum is that it is bagless. Now, I had a bagless vacuum once before, and I hated it because it never seemed to get completely clean. The tank on this unit removes quite easily, and empties with the push of a button, then you just click it back in. I checked all of the parts of the tank, and found that the unit does a very good job of keeping itself clean. I must say I was very pleased. CORD: Cords can be a problem. Fortunately, this vacuum has a 40 foot cord, which means that I can plug it in and then vacuum my front room, foyer, kitchen and mudroom without ever having to move the plug. I like that. If you have a small house, on the other hand, you might find the long cord a bit of a nuisance. Personally, I don't see why they can figure out a way to have a removable cord, like a computer has, so that you can go with a longer one or a shorter one. But, for me the 40 footer is quite nice, and I have no complaints about it. CONCLUSION: As for me, I found this to be a really great vacuum cleaner, easy to use, and very versatile. I was tempted to take away one star for the problem I have with reattaching the wand and the spinning issue, but in truth those are minor quibbles. The fact is that when I put my cursor over the fifth star, it says, "I love it." And, in point of fact I do. I think that this is a great vacuum and I am very glad that I got it. I highly recommend this unit.

Amazing bagless vacuum that lives up to the hype,
This review is from: LG Kompressor Upright Vacuum, Bagless, Blue, LuV300B (Kitchen)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
UPDATE: I've now had the vacuum for about seven months and wanted to check in with an update about a potential problem buyers should be aware of. A week ago the agitator belt began making a loud whining noise and gave off an awful stench of burning rubber, and then promptly snapped in half. The belt, of course, is not covered by the warranty as it's a "consumable part" that wears out over time. A replacement belt through LG is only $11, but then the shipping is another $11 on top of that. While I still love this vacuum, I'm less than thrilled to be shelling out more than $20 for a part that may or may not break again in another six months and am left without a working vacuum in the interim.
After watching the promotional video for the LG Kompressor bagless vacuum, you'd think it could cure world hunger and solve all of society's problems while doing your taxes for you. While the promotion is a little over the top, this is actually a really impressive vacuum. It does everything it should, and has almost no problems of any kind. When the vacuum is plugged in it makes a noise indicating its receiving power, and humorously enough it sounds like a video game effect when Link picks up the tri-force in Legend of Zelda. Prior to the LG Kompressor, I'd been using a Kenmore Magic Blue, which was far noisier than it had any right to be and had very little suction power. The LG picked up an absurd amount of dirt on the first pass through in my living room, and made the carpet noticeably cleaner than my last vacuum ever did. Maybe it's just because I wasn't used to how higher end vacuums operate, but it's actually rather interesting to watch all the brushes spinning and the dirt container rotate. As far as setup goes, the assembly process is simple and intuitive. Parts snap into place easily and there isn't too much labor involved. The design of the vacuum is one of its best features, as everything comes apart without any problems and the buttons are positioned conveniently. Emptying the collected dirt is more simple than with a vacuum that uses a bag. It's just a matter of pressing a button, pulling out the dirt container, and emptying in the garbage. The container snaps back into place just by pushing it against the side of the vacuum. For small spaces or areas that are harder to reach, there is smaller pet hair "wand" that pulls off the back side of the main unit (the "do not use on your pets" warning in the manual is a riot), as well as a long plastic attachment for vacuuming out tight areas in corners or inside couches. Pulling it out is a snap, and it uses the same power buttons as the main vacuum, so it's not complicated to use. The only minor flaw with the vacuum's design is that sometimes it takes a few tries to get the pet hair attachment to go back into its slot due to the positioning of the power cord, but it's honestly an issue of losing 10 seconds of time or less. For the higher tier of more expensive vacuums, this one is a real winner and it completely lives up to the hype of suction power, ease of use, and aesthetic design.

Most Versatile Vacuum I've Ever Used,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: LG Kompressor Upright Vacuum, Bagless, Blue, LuV300B (Kitchen)
After our 6 year old Kenmore Progressive (was a Consumer Reports top rate model) died, I went on the search for what next that could deal with pet hair and a house full of kids. I was a little concerned about going from the veteran Kenmore to newcomer LG but I am a believer now. Here's why...
1) It was amazing and disgusting all at once to see what this thing got out of the last room we had used our Kenmore in just one week earlier. Not just the very visible pet hair I expected but an amazing amount of fine dirt was in the bin. 2) It is quiet by comparison to the old Kenmore Progressive, which itself was radically quieter than our prior short lived Hoover Wind Tunnel, which I assumed was named for it's noise level. 3) This is the easiest to use vacuum we have ever owned, period. The tool design is stellar and my wife and I had no issues pulling the wand with power head in and out. Go from carpet to couch to corners to stairs almost without stopping. Yes, you have to aim a little to get it in the right position when putting the wand back in place but I am not sure I understand some reviews that described this as difficult - it's not. All your tools are right there with you, they start and stop automatically as you detach them, and best yet, they work. I also want to mention that despite some reviews to the contrary the vacuum works with no / dead batteries, hence the backup power switch on the body of the vacuum. But, once you see how it easy it is to turn the vacuum on and off, adjust the power and start and stop the brushes from the wand / handle you will want the batteries.
