I was kind of sketch about buying this specific unit because of the price, but the reviews and descriptions were promising. Once I got it, I opened the box and realized it's covered in gold and has diamond studs all over it! It has an amazing picture, it's definately a conversation piece!

After noticing the Low Price seal, I picked up 2 of these babies the other day. I still can't believe I only paid a little over $8 million for the pair! This is the deal of the century, not to mention the best purchase I've ever made in my life. Fits along really nicely with my $2 million speaker system and $500,000 tv stand.Plus, what really blew me over the edge was that I also signed up for an Amazon Visa at the same time. I saved a whole $30 off the price and got over $120,000 worth of Amazon Visa points! Shipping fee was what kept me at 4 stars... a bit pricy at $97 each but only being 0.0025% of the unit price, it wasn't a tough pill to swallow.

LG WON'T HELP WITH REPEATED PROBLEMS,

An LG LCD TV (model 37LC7D) was a gift for us in May of 2007, purchased from Magnolia Home Theater and the extended warranty was not purchased. The first problem it exhibited required a factory modification 3 months after we received it. It stopped responding to the remote and the menus on the TV were impossible to use via the side buttons. The second problem showed up in early 2009, well beyond the 1-year warranty. It turned itself off unexpectedly. Repeatedly. The repair service was called and we spent almost $500.00 on repairs, the power supply was replaced in April, 2009. In June, 2009, it turned itself off again, unexpectedly. Of course the repair service would not back up their work. And LG refused to do anything. I am very disappointed in a company that will not replace a unit that is clearly defective in some way, warranty or not. That's bad business and bad customer relations. I will not purchase an LG product again. Purchasing an extended warranty on a new product is ludicrous, has always been ludicrous. It only adds to the up-front cost and is merely a way for the seller to add to their profit, betting that MOST of the units they sell will not have problems. I believe it is a deceptive practice. Did I have a choice and could I have purchased an extended warranty? Yes, from the seller, but not from LG. It seems that's the way companies do business these days: "just get it out the door, don't worry about customer satisfaction when something goes wrong, especially if it's only a low percentage of customers; the majority of people will never know that our products are duds and we won't do anything to fix them."

At first I was skeptical due to the outrageous price, but I just happened to win $4,018,100.00 on the ponies. The secret of this screen is that the people on TV actually come out of the screen and make you dinner.

Well u know what they say, if the price is right! And it's absolutely right, I now own one of these babies. I had to sell my house for it, but it comes in a big box so at least i got a nice roof over my head.

I have the forerunner of this item, and if my experience with it is indicative of LG as a whole, watch out! My set did not work correctly from day one. I had it repaired in less than 30 days, but the problem persisted, albeit, intermittantly. Finally, I was so tired of the intermittant problem, I had the set repaired again. Now it doesn't work at all! LG said the set has to be "repaired" yet again before they will authorize replacement even though the main board has been replaced 2x, and the power supply has been replaced. So I get to sit home and wait for repair people that don't show up on time, be without my nice TV for weeks on end, and get this, even if they do fix it or replace it, they will only extend the warranty 90 days. WHAT A CROCK! Oh, and by the way, I bought it at Ken Crane's and they refuse to do anything about it, not to mention the salesperson told me there was a 2 year warranty, although it was really only one year. Have fun!

Had to sell my soul, mortgage the house, sell my body for sex, and invent time travel, go back in time, and invest in Intel, Microsoft, and Coca Cola in order to pay for it, but this LCD TV was TOTALLY worth it! Great product, great seller! A++ would deal with again!

Neither UPS nor Fedex will insure such an amount. Better go to Brick and mortar.Hook this baby up to a mac and watch MS go nuts. Again.

The picture is simply stunning! I took out a .00025% option ARM to afford it and am now looking to "flip it" to a greater fool. (Perhaps a Microsoft Millionaire, Vanderbilt or Walmart heir?)
