Good buy if you don't mind the hassle,

You may wonder how AccessoryOne can sell these batteries at such a low price. Well here's how they do it:
They buy expired batteries in bulk from the OEMs. I surmised this because after my second battery return to AccessoryOne due to their batteries not holding a charge, I contacted my carrier and they revealed the date code on the battery to me. Batteries for sale by the carrier are fresh (that is no more than a few months old). All three batteries that I purchased from AccessoryOne were all at least 30 months old. In fact, I checked the date of the original battery that came with the cell phone (the one that needed replacing) and the batteries I got from AccessoryOne were over 6 months older! But you can succeed with AccessoryOne if you persist: Just contact them about the problem and they will ship you a new battery. They did not want the defective batteries returned. By the third battery, I finally got a good one. Its date code showed that is was still from the old batch (over 30 moths old) but it worked. So for 1/3rd the normal retail price of the fresh batteries from the mall store, AccessoryOne can provide a bargain. The date code on these batteries are under the bar code and begin with the letters 'DC' (date code-get it!). For example, a battery with a date code of DC051129 was made on November 29, 2005. Hope this helps.

I bought two of these sold by AccessoryOne as "LG OEM Original" batteries. They provide shorter talk/standby times than the 18-month-old LG batteries I replaced. They also become considerably warmer during conversation than the originals. I unwrapped the cover of both this battery and the genuine LG battery that came with the phone, and they are constructed differently. The genuine LG battery only has plastic on the top and bottom, while this has plastic on each side.

Bad deal,
This review is from: LG OEM LGIP-A1000E BATTERY FOR VX3300 VX8100 (Electronics)
O K, I bought 2 of these batteries, they were both used and didn't hold a charge. So I wrote my displeasure to Accessory One. They apologized and said their used batteries got mixed up with the new ones and said they would send me 2 new ones. Well I got my batteries today and not only were they not new they were worse than the first 2 I bought. Now I have 4 bad batteries. I will not buy from Accessory One any more.
