5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
I was concerned that this battery would not be as good of a product as the one sold directly through Verizon, but it seems to be working well. It looks and performs exactly like the one purchased through Verizon, but this one was about $30 less! Great Product. Great Seller.

You may wonder how AccessoryOne can sell these batteries at such a low price. Well here's how they do it:

They buy expired batteries in bulk from the OEMs. I surmised this because after my second battery return to AccessoryOne due to their batteries not holding a charge, I contacted my carrier and they revealed the date code on the battery to me. Batteries for sale by the carrier are fresh (that is no more than a few months old). All three batteries that I purchased from AccessoryOne were all at least 30 months old. In fact, I checked the date of the original battery that came with the cell phone (the one that needed replacing) and the batteries I got from AccessoryOne were over 6 months older!

But you can succeed with AccessoryOne if you persist: Just contact them about the problem and they will ship you a new battery. They did not want the defective batteries returned. By the third battery, I finally got a good one. Its date code showed that is was still from the old batch (over 30 moths old) but it worked. So for 1/3rd the normal retail price of the fresh batteries from the mall store, AccessoryOne can provide a bargain.

The date code on these batteries are under the bar code and begin with the letters 'DC' (date code-get it!). For example, a battery with a date code of DC051129 was made on November 29, 2005.

Hope this helps.

1.0 out of 5 stars Performed poorly, heated up, not constructed like original LG battery, October 22, 2007

I bought two of these sold by AccessoryOne as "LG OEM Original" batteries. They provide shorter talk/standby times than the 18-month-old LG batteries I replaced. They also become considerably warmer during conversation than the originals. I unwrapped the cover of both this battery and the genuine LG battery that came with the phone, and they are constructed differently. The genuine LG battery only has plastic on the top and bottom, while this has plastic on each side.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad deal, December 29, 2007
This review is from: LG OEM LGIP-A1000E BATTERY FOR VX3300 VX8100 (Electronics)
O K, I bought 2 of these batteries, they were both used and didn't hold a charge. So I wrote my displeasure to Accessory One. They apologized and said their used batteries got mixed up with the new ones and said they would send me 2 new ones. Well I got my batteries today and not only were they not new they were worse than the first 2 I bought. Now I have 4 bad batteries. I will not buy from Accessory One any more.

I purchased two of these batteries from AccessoryOne and both were much worst then the original batteries. They would not hold a charge and had very little talk time. Do not buy from AccessoryOne.

1.0 out of 5 stars Problems working in LG VX8300, April 20, 2008

I purchased this battery from AccessoryOne, when charged-it appears to have held the charge, but in a matter of an hour-the phone would show only 1 bar left or shut off on me. I tried discharging the battery completely then charging it full several times, but I kept getting the same results. I also cleaned the contacts with a pencil erase and then with contact cleaner-with no improvement. I purchased another LG OEM battery from the Verizon store in town (which actually is 1100mAh not 1000mAh as AccessoryOne sells) and it worked perfectly-so I have to draw a conclussion that AccessoryOne sold me a bad battery-also the battery has a mfg. date of 2006, so it's been sitting around for over a year in the package before I purchased it or they were defective batteries. i'd be cautious about buying another battery from AccessoryOne-especially if the battery price is too low to believe (under $10.00)

Batteries wouldn't hold a charge for more than an hour! Now I know why they were so cheap.

The battery that was shipped to me was apparently used and will not hold a sufficient charge. It ended up being worse than the old battery that I already had in the phone. Find another vendor that will sell you a new battery. Don't waste your time and money here!!

The product description led me to believe the battery was new. The battery came to me in a zip lock baggie with crud on it. I returned the item for a refund. Shipping is overpriced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Four Hours and Still Charged!, January 18, 2008
This review is from: LG OEM LGIP-A1000E BATTERY FOR VX3300 VX8100 (Electronics)
I bought this battery just before Christmas since my phone would die after a 15 minute call. They told me that I wouldn't receive it until after Christmas, but it arrived in MA just 3 days after I ordered it from the company in CA!

I use my cell phone for everything (I don't have a home number), and I am on the phone all the time. This battery has kept it's charge. I was on the phone last night for four hours and when I hung up it had gone from 4 bars of battery down to two...after FOUR hours! I was amazed!
