I ordered two LG filters by Cuno as was originally in our LG refrigerator but received two filters for Kenmore refrigerators by a different manufacturer. They arrived quickly and in good order. They seem to be well made, are very similar to the original and are rated for 500 gallons so I kept them. It has been a few weeks since installation and the water is clear and odorless so the filter seems to be effective. What I am not entirely satisfied with is the fact that I received a substitution by a different maker than what was described and pictured and I have to assume are of similar quality.

We have public water that's mildly chlorinated. This filter removed all traces of chlorine taste and that somewhat "fishy" taste from summer algae blooms for over a year. In fact, it was the best tasting water I'd had in 30 years!

These filters are meant to last 6 months or so but for us delivered good water for over a year (could be we don't drink as much water as average families).

Easy to install. Not easy to find except on line. Expensive but worth it.

We got exactly what we ordered from TwitterOutlet (BMB International, LLC)--no switch to a Kenmore filter or one with an "LG" label slapped on it, but a genuine LG LT500P filter (like the one that came w/ the refrigerator when we bought it). Easy to install and works great.

I have ordered from this exact page before and always received the pictured, CUNO water filter (made by 3M). This time a much cheaper 'bargain' filter was substituted...although at the full $35 price. This is what you'd get if you ordered one of the $20 something bargain filters. Beware...Potential Dynamix LLC or Direct Super Center via Amazon Fulfillment is sending out a different filter than pictured! A vastly inferior product.

Plus, the filter they sent is only good for 300 gallons, not the 500 gallons the filter on this page is rated for.

too expensive here. get it at best buy for $39.00

The filter I was sent was not the one I ordered. It had a different part number and didnt fit right. Next time i will buy one from a reputable store.

I assume it is filtering the water because the flow is extremely slow. The filter I replaced did not have flow issues.

I ordered one "LG filter." Received a "KENMORE Premium Filter box." Without opening the box, I wrote to the Company - New2YouKY - who advised me that an "LG" filter was placed inside the KENMORE box due to "a packaging error."

Open the box, and yes, a filter with an "LG" label was inside.

Should I wonder if the LG label on the actual product was also labeled in error? Who actually manufactured this product?

Seems strange. I'm sending the filter back.

Unlike a prior Amazon buyer/reviewer, I'm not ready to accept the packaging error, nor the possible substitution. Will not assume the product to be of high quality. Will look elsewhere.

We purchased this water filter for the refrigerator we bought last spring. I looked around at several water filters and decided on this one. It was very easy to install and has worked beautifully. My water and ice are without any offensive tastes or odors. Would definitely buy this again.

NOTE: I purchased my filter from "Appliance Care Store", and it is indeed the genuine CUNO LG original as shown in the picture here and the same one that came with my LG fridge.

The water coming out of the fridge tastes so clean with this filter that you don't even have to check the door to see if it has been six months. After the 500 gallons of filtering, the water goes back the that odd tap water taste and you know it's time to change it. I find myself drinking much more water now and that certainly is a good thing.
