First, I'd recommend reading all of the reviews for the LG Chocolate headphones which are identical to this except that they fit a standard 2.5mm headphone jack port and are silver, where these are specifically for those LG phones that have no such port such as my VX8700. I've found that all of the positive statements about the versatility of that setup are equally true for this one, right down to being able to plug into an input port on your car stereo (if equipped) to play through your auto stereo speakers hands-free and still be able to take and place calls.

That said I have some specific comments about the so-called "throwaway" earbuds that come with this set-- primarily that they are far better than they seem at first with but one small addition. Initially I had problems fitting them into my ear and they'd fall out if I even turned my head. While relatively clear, or at least as clear as my Sony Fontopia buds, they were lacking in bass for tracks that require good bass response such as Journey, The Eagles, Enya, or virtually all movie sound tracks(especially John Williams!). However, I took the little foam cover "booties" off of the Creative earbuds that came with my Zen and VOILA! they not only would stay comfortably in my ears but had greatly increased bass response with very little loss in midrange and high-end clarity! IMO they are now as good as the Sennheiser CX300 (bass as good without the tinniness, though not quite as clear midrange and highs) and better than the Fontopias or SP630's all-around. Nowhere near as good as CX500's or my monster supra-aural Sennheiser headphones, of course, but as good as anything I've tried in the $50 earbud class and better than most, and that's awesome condidering the price. So try some foam earbud covers before condemning these buds and springing for more expensive ones.

Overall I give this item a "100" on it's report card for it's price, versatility, and quality given it's intended purpose.

The product shipped by A1 Accessories is NOT as pictured and is a cheapo headset dissed elsewhere on Amazon and offered for $2.70 by the same vendor elsewhere. (no ear covers, lousy sound, incompatible connector, flimsy wire, send/end button does nothing). No response from emails and customer service forms filled out and sent to A!.

Hey amazon do you take any responsibility for the vendors your promote? Incorrect pictures and product descriptions?

Buyer beware.

I did a search on headphones for LG Xenon and these headphones came up.
Trusting the description I orded them and the plug is too big.
I had to send them back and the correct pair is on it's way. To big of a hasle but time consuming

Sounds Great, well worth the price. Only issue i have is that they did not come with earbud covers. Not a big deal i just ended up using some from another set, works fine. They do get a little distorted when bass is turned all the way up, but that may also just be the phone. You can use any set of headphone with 1/8"(3.5mm)plug if you wanted to change from the included set. Love the volume control on the headset. The mic is nicely sensitive, never had a problem being heard even when driving and talking at a normal volume. Don't have to speak up. Overall i am very happy with the headset.

Within a week my son couldn't hear out of the the left side of these headphones! Don't waste your time and money...keep looking! Rachel

I bought this for LG ARENA GT950.
first order, not right product and returned it.
got my second order, wrong one again.

I told them I got 3.5mm plug headset(returned item) and it's not compatible with my cell phone (mine looks more like picture but little different shape) and they said

'Our system shows what certain items are compatible with and that is what we
sent you.'

oh well... they need to update their system because THEY ARE WRONG!

I m not gonna return it AGAIN, cuz it will cost as much as new headset.

There is no such thing as a head-set or earbud for the XENON LG500 although the phone itself is very nice. Every head-set or earbud that was suppose to be for this phone I have purchased and no of them work.
Hopefully AT&T will decide on making one.

The sound quality of this headset is pretty high pitched, its not a very balanced sound, mostly high treble, I find myself asking people to repeat what they said, and then if they speak too loud it hurts my ear. Its difficult to find the right volume level to listen on. Other people say that they can hear me very well, so the microphone is good. I love the fact that you can listen to conversations through both left and right ears, and you can't beat the price... Overall I gave the product 3 stars.

I purchased this for my son so that he could use his phone as a MP3 player. Have not really used them yet, but I did hook up and the sound was clear. I also received the order in a very timely manner, considering the Christmas rush. I am pleased with my order.

Sound quality is very good, the included earbuds have a rather strange length of cord, but the ability to use any headphones in place of the earbuds is great, especially for music.
