Excellent OEM holster,

There are a number of non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) holsters for the LG VX8350 available online, but there is a very good reason to seek out an OEM holster for this particular phone. The VX8350 has a *very* small indentation at the top of the phone, which the holster clips into in order to hold the phone in place. Unless a very stiff, top-quality plastic is used in the manufacture of the holster, you may find that the phone isn't held securely enough, and will pop out at inopportune moments (such as getting in and out of the car). This OEM holster is made from the correct plastic, and as such holds the phone very securely. My original holster lasted nearly 4 years, until I caught it on something and sheered the belt-clip off. The holster never actually released the phone during this accident, and hence protected it as it fell to the concrete.
My original holster was black, and since my phone is a charcoal gray, I was concerned that this new clear plastic holster might look a little funny, but thankfully it does not. I haven't found any of these OEM holsters in any other color, and I presume this is because the clear holster goes fine with every phone color. An excellent buy in any event, if you are looking to replace your original VX8350 holster, or want to start carrying your phone conveniently on your belt. I will also mention that there are a number of good reasons to carry your phone on your belt instead of in your pocket, but the primary one is that you can actually get to your phone when it rings/vibrates while you are seated!
