This little phone is my new favorite toy. I absolutely love it. For one, it's a perfect phone in that the sound quality is great and even the ringtones are crystal clear. It only ever dropped one of my calls, and that was when the person I was talking to was in a valley that always gets poor cell phone coverage.

It took me an evening to practice and master the touch screen, but now that I'm used to it, I really, really love it and think it's very convenient. The numbers still give a tiny, satisfying "click" under your finger, but all the other functions respond with a light, purposeful touch.

The tools and functions work very quickly, as opposed to my last phone, that responded sluggishly. The menus are relatively intiutive too.

The camera takes surprisingly clear pictures and videos, and the screen is amazingly bright and clear. I really like the way the text is smooth and clear instead of pixellated.

And finally, the pink plastic case is just adorable. The pink is bright and almost iridescent...darker and much prettier than the photo.

I have no complaints! I'm glad I got it!

A Kid's Review on July 10, 2007
I got my new Strawberry Chocolate last night. In this review I will tell you how my night went. First of all the phone is amazing. It's looks are brilliant and its sound quality is awesome. It's pink, I mean, that's a bonus all on it's own.
Pros:
*Looks
*Sound
*Music
*Has music alarm clock
*Slides instead of flips
*Has pix, flix, text, messaging
*Has mobile IM and chat
*Very small

Now here's some bad things that happened last night. The touch screen is a little hard to get used to, but when you do, it is second nature. Sometimes you randomly click buttons, but all you have to do is go back. Yes when you text message, sometimes it sends the message without it being finished. And here's the biggest thing. If you give it too many commands, like when a song is playing and it won't play, and you tell it again, the phone will freeze. You either have to take the battery out, or wait. So far, I think the battery life is great. I charged it last night, and I've been using it all morning for texting, taking pictures music and such, and it's only down one bar. People say that you press too many buttons at once, or the touch screen messes up on you. No it doesn't if you use it the right way. When you call someone, I suggest just holding the phone aside from placing it between your face and your shoulder. If you use your shoulder, your face may hit a bunch of buttons. One thing I totally love, is unlike my other phone where you can only change the bottome key, you can change all of the arrow keys to go to shortcuts that match your personality. So when people tell you that their browser comes up when they talk on the phone, it doesn't always have to be that way. You can change it very easily.

So I do love this phone but there are some disadvantages to it. The keypad is a little bit hard to get used to but, once you do, it's smooth sailing. You don't have to actually push in the keys on the front of the phone (before you slide it open) and only have to touch them to activate them. However, the phone does have a setting where you decide how hard they need to be pushed to work, so you can adjust it to your preferences easily. Also, if you drop your phone a lot, do not buy this one. Since the screen is so big and takes up pretty much the entire front of the phone, it is easily damaged. Overall though this is a great phone and has excellent features, including great sound and music setups.

I like the slide design, however, it makes the phone very top-heavy. This makes it difficult to text message with one hand. I also don't like the buttons. There is very little ridge detail between the numbers, so it is difficult to be sure you are pressing the correct number.

If you are even thinking about purchasing this phone...do it! The sound quality is great, love the mp3 player, and hey...it's PINK! What more could a girl want in a phone?! I am also very pleased with Verizon's service, I've been with them for 2 years, and just signed on for 2 more. Trust me, you'll love this phone. Oh, get the music essentials kit with the phone if you want to use the mp3 player feature!

I got this phone less than a year ago and it has already broken twice. Verizon has given me a free new phone twice because the product malfunctioned. They told me the last time that they have had a lot of problems with this product and they recommend a different phone when I am eligible. I have a few friends who have had problems with theirs also. Apparently the reason LG came out with the new chocolate is because this one was so bad.

I bought the Strawberry Chocolate one year ago and now it's starting to do things it never did before. It dials number out of my contacts when it's in my purse at least once a day.... When I'm out, I hear the voice command mode turn itself on and it's telling me to "say a command".The touch screen in getting harder and harder to touch...I loved this phone up until a couple weeks ago. Now I hate it and have to wait one more year to get a new phone......ARGHHHHH!
