i got this from a local place in aug., 2006. retail was $1k and due to a sales ad misprint, we were able to snag it for $300. i wouldn't spend a grand on it, but for $300 it is the best thing i've bought in a while. transmitter is on middle floor. it works upstairs, downstairs, in basement garage and by the pool. the battery only runs about 2 hrs., but finding an...

I purchased this tv March 2006. Paid 1050.00 and since have had an additional 1100.oo in repairs and mailing charges to lg. That works out to 500.00 per year. Not very good buy!!!!!

i got this from a local place in aug., 2006. retail was $1k and due to a sales ad misprint, we were able to snag it for $300. i wouldn't spend a grand on it, but for $300 it is the best thing i've bought in a while. transmitter is on middle floor. it works upstairs, downstairs, in basement garage and by the pool. the battery only runs about 2 hrs., but finding an outlet isn't bad and is a whole lot easier than dragging out expensive cable extensions. if the price is right, get it.
