This is a very easy board to use.
Das Beanmeister
Included driver disks almost always have considerably outdated drivers and possibly crapware as others have indicated.

The motherboard works great and performance is great with all my other parts.

This is a great board which gives you all sorts of great features and tones of power. I just can't believe how fast my boot times are (sub 8 sec) on my Windows 7 64bit Core i3-3225 with 8GB of ram and a SanDisk SSD.

One thing to be aware of is that with the ITX size there is no way that ASRock could fit any header labels on the board so read your manual carefully when connecting things like the front panel and USB case ports.

Finally, when you install the drivers you will find a LOT of useless utilities and applications so be ware and look for all the check boxes before you end up spending 30min removing Adobe and USB and LAN utilities.

I have two of these. Absolutely no issues. I am using an inteset CIR receiver to turn these on or off.

Don't forget to plug in the secondary 4-pin power supply connector. It won't boot if you forget it.

Bought this for my first mini-itx build in a Bitfenix Prodigy case. The motherboard works great and performance is great with all my other parts. I had no problems installing it or booting up.

This was a bargain. Bios is nice and performs well for what it does: HTPC. Would be nice if it could handle something other than a video card in the PCIe slot.

This H77 board was a great find. I used this with an i3-3245 for my little brother for school and light gaming and the system has been rock solid. As another reviewer noted, the driver disc does have some bloatware - I'd stay away from the chrome and adobe reader installer. But there were a few software overclocking utilities, which were nice. The graphical BIOS was pretty sweet too. Overall, if you're looking for a solid mobo for a small mITX system and don't plan on overclocking substantially, there's really no reason to go for a more expensive Z77 chip set. Only negative I could find is no onboard WiFi. At this price though, it's really not a deal breaker.

Tl;dr Stable, nice BIOS, watch out for some junk on driver disc, no WiFi. Good buy.

Bought this for my personal home development workstation in conjunction with a 240GB SSD and 16GB of RAM along with a compact desktop case. I'm reusing a Sandy Bridge i3-2100 from a previous system since my work is much more RAM than CPU intensive. For the OS I'm running Linux Mint 15 KDE 64-bit, which was probably the fastest install ever. Boot times are about 4-5 seconds max, on average the POST takes longer than Mint getting to the logon prompt. Mint detected all the motherboard devices without issues, the 1Gb LAN works great (although currently only on a 100Mbps fiber optic internet connection until I get a beefier router and move to 1Gb), the SSD has no problems, installed Linux from a USB DVD drive connected to the case front via the extra header without any issues. So far all the various BIOS configurable boot options have worked fine, booting from various media connected via USB has been no issue. While I haven't run any SSD benchmarks since I didn't get a top-shelf drive anyway, it is connected to the SATA3 connector and qualitatively feels blazing fast. Disk bound operations never appear like a bottleneck. Android Studio, an application that on a traditional HDD is a bit of a sluggish loader loads to the blinking cursor in about 10 seconds, which is probably more a reflection on the i3 than the SSD.

I'm using the integrated Intel SB graphics to drive two monitors, one at 2048x1152 connected to the DVI port, the other at 1680x1050 on the HDMI port. All desktop operations are silky smooth, flicking Flash heavy sites top to bottom and back is instantaneous without visual tearing or any issues. Since I don't game on this system I'm not planning on installing a discrete video card and am extremely happy with 2D video performance, but cannot assess the performance of the PCI slot.
