The good:
Gets a factory style 7 blade connection at the back, standard 7 blade RV connection like all new trucks/SUVs
New rubber plug for where wires pass through body at the rear.
Good build quality, heat shield over the cable near exhaust and engine, nice!
Fast owner install (above average abilities, but not a mechanic)
Very simple run from engine to under drivers dash, really a vehicle plus not this kit but it applies. There is a round plug on the firewall that if you pull out or push out from under the dash, makes running the wire inside the vehicle super EZ(something I was worried about.) This is the only rubber plug you need to cut to pass wires through. (simple pierce with a blade, and push wires through, don't worry about cutting an actual hole, it's rubber and will bend around it a seal the hole)

The BAD:
The mount of the connector for the trailer is only made for a FACTORY style hitch. Does not work with Curt or other brand hitches. There is NO place to mount the connection. There isn't even a place to have a bracket made and welded on!!!
At the brake controller, assuming you need one otherwise save your money and buy a 4 pin harness for 50% of the price, there is only 1 of the 4 wires. You have to purchase wire, and connectors, and run to Positive, Negative, and splice into the Brake wire, in order to connect a brake controller. As suggested for trailers over 1k lbs(I think), required for over 2k lbs (I think)
The install has one issue just forward of the gas tank, before the wire goes up to the battery. The issue is there is NOTHING to hold the wires away from the front drive shaft(is that the term?) for the 4 wheel drive to the front wheels. The only thing there is the brake lines. I was not excited about Zip tying to the brake lines, but had zero other choices. I don't consider that an appropriate item to connect to, so I stand by my statement of nothing to tie to.
