Customer Reviews

They rust and stain your sink!
G. Nimmer
Slightly better than what I could buy in the local grocery store, but not made to last more than a week or two.
Autodidact2
Great for cleaning any professional all-metal cookware without abrading the surface.

These would have recieved 5 stars but the staple that holds then together is steel. The steel rusts and leaves stains on sink where I keep the scrubber.

Scrubby isn't usually a compliment, but in this case it is. I hate non-stick cookware. I use only plain stainless steel. The copper scrubbers at the grocery store are cheap junk, they are only copper plated steel. They rust and stain your sink! Gross! These Libman scrubbers are 100% copper, no rust, and won't scratch your cookware. These scrub away cooked on gunk almost effortlessly. They work great! I only wish they were available locally, so I wouldn't have to pay shipping on such an inexpensive thing.

Compared to the copper sponges you can get in a commercial restaurant supply store, these are much too small. They will do the job, but you will find that they quickly compress into a little tight ball that is much less effective at scrubbing pots. For about the same money, you can order the "real" ones from online restaurant supply companies.

These are good little scrubbers, but the dimensions are 3.25 x 2.75 x 1.0 inches each. Also, another use to which I've put them is in the filter of my fish tank to control fungus infections (careful though- too much copper is toxic to your fish) BTW, I found these at a local drug store for $2.99, but the Amazon price seems to be a pretty common price around the web.

These scrubbers last much longer than stainless steel scrubbers because they don't rust. They're very effective at cleaning baked on food from cookie sheets, pyrex, etc.

One of the scrubbers has a steel retaining clip while the other had a plastic tie holding the copper mesh together. Must have come off different production lines. Found the clip by running a magnet over the scrubbers to make sure they're not copper-plated steel. The steel clip will rust for sure in the future and ruin an otherwise great scrubber with rust, plus there's a definite risk of scratching the surfaces you're scrubbing. Sort of insane to use a steel clip in a copper scrubber. Demerit 2 stars.

These are great for scrubbing pots but I ordered them as a slug repellant. I took out the steel staple and cut them into long pieces to wrap around my new plants this spring. I had no problem in my beds with these guarding my plants except for one plant and I think was not a slug that was eating my plant. If you use copper for this purpose the prices are pretty spendy. Worth a try for those of you that like to garden without chemicals.

This worked great in taking the grease off, but the food particles got stuck all over this scrub. I couldn't get them all out, so I threw it away after one use.
