I have an older version of this mop. My x-wife bought it. Mopped the house for probably 10 years. When the head was wearing out, I bought a new mop. Within 6 months, that mop was dead. Luckily I still had this one around. So I searched around to find a new head for this one, and got it back in action. I've used it for another 2-3 years. Finally, the head rusted out, and the mop part fell off, LOL!! But for 10 years, this mop simply can not be beat. It looks expensive if you compare to some $5 mop out of a store. The value can't be beat though.

All I can say is I am glad to finally figure out what mop I have been using. One my way to buy another tomorrow. It just broke tonight ;)

Took the mop out of the packaging. Dipped the mop in water and cleaning solution mix. Mopped the floor and then when i tried to wring the mop out with it's patented twisting tornado motion it broke. Now i have a plain old mop that i have to wring out by hand. I might as well have bought one for half the price with a sturdy wooden handle as opposed to the crappy construction this mop has.

This thing broke after the first time I used it. Cheap plastic just breaks right off. Use a different mop

This mop worked great the first couple times. Now it's just a tangled mess. To untangle it takes forever & it gets tangled really easy, so instead of having a large cleaning mop, it's a small little knot that neither cleans nor rings out!

First off: why would you get a mop like this? Portability? Price? The patented tornado-wringing feature? As far as I can tell, those are all the major sell-points, and it fails in two of them (it's standard mop-length, so I guess it breaks even on "portability").

I got this guy because I really wanted to have a wringing-out feature of some variety. For whatever reason, you can't find a wring-bucket under $40, and they come in industrial-size only. It's really a shame, too, because I never really feel a mop gets dry when hand-wringing. Plus, I live in an apartment under 500 sq.ft. I don't really have the space for a giant wooden mop, and I wanted to keep the price down, since I only have to clean a couple surfaces. I was looking for something that could be a little more thorough than the Swiffer, wet-wipe-on-a-stick style mop, but nothing too extreme. This seemed perfect.

It is not perfect. The way the mop works is that the rod has two pieces, the main part and a little white part. You can see it in the picture. The rod goes through the mop-head, and attaches to its bottom. The white part hooks onto the top. When you pull the white part up, it stretches the mop-head vertically, and you can then rotate it to wring the mop. It's a great idea, but all the parts are cheap plastic, and have a tendency to pop off. The rod attaches to the bottom with a plastic clip that looks like the little table you get in a pizza box, but refashioned into a ring. THAT part pops off with the tiniest scrubbing motion, so that the whole mop-head unravels. It looks like a yarn-ball with a stick through it. In cleaning just the 10 or so feet that make up my kitchen, that happened a total of four times.

The twist motion is also kind of broken.

Great concept until you try and use it. Really Libman!!, the mop is attached to the wand with a zip tie!! Unless you are gentle, gentle, gentle the mop falls off when it is twisted to ring out liquid. Pain in the !@#$%^& to get back on. It does clean the floor nicely, but not worth the aggrivation of constantly re-attaching the mop.

I had to order this mop after trying another one from the store. I read the reviews for this mop and sent for it right away. The prior mop I had bought was a piece of crap. This mop is great and works easily.

This mop has a plastic clip that attaches to the metal mop stick. It is what keeps the "replaceable mop head" attached. I was able to get one wet and wring out of this mop before that plastic clip opened. No big deal, I will re-attach it and keep mopping. After spending a few minutes figuring out how to attach it I got it done and stuck the mop back in the bucket and wrung it out. Proceeded to start mopping and it came un-clipped immediately. So I clipped it again. It popped back off before I could even flip the mop back over. This is a poor design, the plastic clip is not long enough, the pressure of the wet rope mop against the plastic is to much and the ratchets won't keep it down. I would NOT buy this mop again. I am sending it back to Amazon for a refund. See attached photo to see what I am talking about.
