Laozi: Dao De Jing,
By
This review is from: LAOZI (LIBRARY OF CLASSICS, C-E) (Library of Chinese Classics) (English and Mandarin Chinese Edition) (English and Chinese Edition) (Hardcover)
This book is " DaoDe Jing " better known as " The Way " in English term. It was published in China in 1999 as a part of Literary Chinese Classics.
It is written in Mandrin with English translation by Arthur Waley and also include modern chinese translation. It also include a reproduction of the silk copy of DaoDe Jing unearthed at Mawangdui in 1972. I enjoy reading the 81 chapters in Mandarin original chinese Dao de Jing accompanied by its English translation. I have other DaoDe Jing and this is one of my valued edition. I also like the Lao Tsu :Tao Te Ching by Gia Fu Feng and Jane English, which was published as a 25th edition, I like this one because of its aesthetic value with a beautiful caliography and picture.
