...The images contained in this hardcover Life tribute to George mainly focused on his time in the Beatles (which most Beatles fans have already seen, so there's nothing new to see). His life after the Beatles broke up comprised only 17 pages of a 111 page book and didn't even bother to cover his solo work, not even All Things Must Pass.

It gives a tiny mention of the Concert for Bangladesh and his Dark Horse tour but that's about all you get. This tribute didn't even scratch the surface as to depth of my beloved George's solo work or of his spirituality.

All in all I think that George deserves a better tribute. This hardcover tribute to George is great as a collector's item but don't look for anything that gets to the heart and soul of this wonderful man.

God bless you George for your music and making the world see that we need to have God present in our lives.

This book is unbalanced: only a few final pages sum up his post-Beatles years. What an unforgivable blunder!

It is also poorly edited: the author's comments are not particularly good, detract from the text, and hence were annoying.

This book smacks of exploitation of the anniversary of a good man's demise. Do not reward them with your hard-earned money.

I saw the Martin Scorsese documentary on HBO and it is superb! I recommend that, and the book by George's wife, Olivia.

Been a beatles fan since I first saw them on the old 19" Zenith while they played on the Ed Sullivan show. Almost immediately appreciated Lennon / McCartney for their colaborations and writing talent. George developed at a slower speed. Looking \back with the Life Magazine and the Scorsese movie (Living in the Material World) has provided the insight to raise George to a level he never had with me before. Geoge, sorry I was so slow to accept your genius but I have now. Recommended to anybody that want's to understand the most introverted Beatle. I'd like to thank Olivia Harrison for completely sharing all her personal memories with strangers. You have done me a great personal service.

George Harrison has really come into his own over the last 10 years or so. His great contribution to The Beales sound is really only being recognised now. Add to that his post-Beatle output and interests you have someone who has really stepped out of the shadows of Lennon and McCartney. This book is a feast for George fans.
