This little netbook is great for just about everything you have a netbook for. It does not have any features that really make it stand out from all the others, but it gets the job done. The only reason I could find to justify the $100 more that you spend on it is that it is made in Japan, instead of a Foxconn dungeon where workers commit suicide all the time in a country that oppresses Tibet and threatens to invade the democratic island of Taiwan. Panasonic makes theirs in Japan too, but they are all the Toughbooks which are more expensive.

Fujitsu customer service is made of aids and fail. I tried to get repairs on the computer (nothing wrong with the computer itself, I spilled something on it and was willing to pay for repairs) and had to go through a huge corporate bureaucracy just to talk to someone who might tell me where I can send it. When it comes to them calling me, it is almost as if they deliberately call me at the times when I have specified I will be too busy to talk, and they never call anywhere near around the times I said would be best for me. I have been jerked around by them too, asked for information I have given them several times and been given about three different service request numbers.

Until Fujitsu improves its customer service, I will be going against my principles and buying Chinese-made laptops. The quality of the laptops (the one I am writing on now is a desktop replacement that I have had for near four years now and still runs nicely) may be worth it, but whenever you have to deal with Fujitsu America, it is downright painful and just not worth it.
