I am only giving this 4 stars because you can't just buy it without going through a seller, and its kinda spendy. And just know that I am now switching to the capsules of 'fucoidan', because the reviews are all very positive, and its much much cheaper.... but here is my review of this particular product:

My boyfriend got a few bottles of Limu for me through a friend who has seen great results from it (chronic pain after back surgery a few years ago, pain pills daily... and Limu has allowed him to stop taking the pain meds) so I tried it. I was injured from head to toe in the army back in the 90s, and due to the nature of those injuries, I just figured the pain would just remain. Its gotten better over the years, but not disappeared completely - I wasn't sure if I had healed finally or if my brain was just keeping the pain in check.

After a few weeks I noticed that the parts of my back that were just staying stiff all the time were starting to pop and relax, and the relief from that alone was wonderful. I had given up on chiropractors, since something was keeping my muscles in certain places very tight, adjustments were a waste of money. This is a bit personal, but pain during sex was gone, as well - cervix was always bumped and irritated. Aching in my once fractured feet was fading away, as well, along with knee pain and hip pain.

As a chemist, I like experimenting with things and I decided to try something with the Limu... I stopped drinking it for a few days, just to see if the intiinflammatory properties allowed old injuries to finally heal. Since its so spendy, that would have been nice not to have to pay $120 a month through a supplier, its kind of a pyrimid scheme. Nope. The pain came back a bit worse, most likely because my brain was no longer used to blocking the nerves with the chronic irritation. My back was stiff, feet hurt, knees hurt, sex became painful again. So now a few days back on it (a few sips in the morning, and a few in the evening, that's all) and the pain is quickly fading away. Faster than when I initially started drinking it, that took about 3 weeks.

So yes, it works... and if someone takes it who has had pain for a long time, you might not notice how its helping if your brain was blocking any of your pain, but you will most likely notice if you take it for a while and then stop. Not to say you have to stay on it, your brain would again block the pain, but it might take a while. I'll be getting a subscription of this stuff soon, and I'll have extra bottles that I'll sell on here, but I will not be ripping anyone off like the sellers here that I'm seeing. It not $45 a bottle, wow. Greed, greed greed.

Well..........no one twisted my arm to buy this stuff at the outrageous price it is, but I thought I would try it to see if there were any noticeable health benefits. So far.....I have drank two bottles of the stuff and feel no different than I was before.....other than $159.00 poorer. Ya know....if they would lower the price to a reasonable amount, I might would try it for a couple of months to maybe let it get into my system in order to make what ever difference it suppose to make. I know there is no miracle product out there to make the wrong things right over night, but if this stuff does have health benefits.........why in the world does it have to be so expensive ??

I've tried other Limu products with mixed results but Limu Original always delivers. I drink 2 oz every day and it keeps my energy constant during the day. I've also noticed my hair grows faster and at age 56, that's a very good thing. Even my hairdresser commented. Tastes great. It's more than other products but in my opinion delivers more.

Limu has been very beneficial to my health. Limu provides iodine from the seaweed Limu Moui from the South Pacific. Americans are experiencing an epidemic of low iodine intake. There are over 58 diseases that can follow from lack of proper iodine levels. See Dr. David Brownstein video regarding thyroid problems & other illnesses from iodine deficiency (Google it). Limu has helped to lift persistent brain fog, increased my energy levels, helps me sleep better, is making my skin more soft & supple that people are noticing! I have a better sense of well-being, my eyes were constantly weeping, Limu has made this symptom disappear! It is also cleansing my blood! I'm type 2 diabetic & previous to Limu, when I tested my glucose, my blood was dark red & stagnate looking, now, my blood is bright red & almost watery! There are so many health benefits to Limu, if you are thinking of buying it, i highly recommend that you do! The people of the south Pacific who regularly take Limu are some of the healthiest and longest living people on the planet!!

First I have tried the product and it doesn't taste nasty but there are much better tasting drinks out there so if you are looking for something based on taste alone this is not your product. No one buys Limu though for the taste, the product is purchased because of the outrageous marketing claims that it makes regarding health benefits. The product uses very carefully crafted language in its marketing to walk a legal line of not really out right claiming benefits while at the same time implying that it is a miracle drink. Lets examine some of these misleading statements...

First the product claims to have over 950 scientific studies supporting it. Well not really, its main ingredient they claim has over 950 (or depending on which marketing material from them you look at it could be only 600, or 750, or over 1000, it would be nice to find some consistency) scientific studies. Wow, that's a lot, right? Well no, they are very careful to not say what the studies focus on, or if they had any implications for humans. For all we know from that claim they could be referencing scientifically rigorous marketing studies, the Limu people don't say and that in itself is a giant red flag.

Next, if we assume that the bunch (since they aren't even sure of a number) of studies they claim exist on the main ingredient are actually relevant to the health claims they tip toe around that has to mean that the product is actually good for you right? I mean all these studies can't be wrong, right? Well no, the studies on the active ingredient even if carried out properly and the results are open to review (which there is no evidence these "studies" are) does not necessarily imply that the overall product when consumed by a human and then goes through the digestive tract of that human can accomplish any of the stuff being claimed, or implied.

Well what about all these testimonials about the product? Limu is typically marketed via Multi Level Marketing (think close cousin of a pyramid scam) which relies on recruiting a product users into huge hoard of people to sell the product. So you have this huge hoard of people who have a vested interest in selling the product then turning around and claiming that this product did wonders for them. Gee, I wonder why they might be prone to giving great testimonials?

Why all the people can't be paid shills, can they? No it is highly likely that some people feel better taking the product, after all replacing bad parts of your diet with health food does tend to make you feel better. The question is though does limu work better than replacing fast food with healthy meals which are by far cheaper? The answer is that there are no studies which can allow Limu to make this claim.

So in short save your money and eat healthier, you are likely to get better results than if you bought Limu.

I thought it was really expensive. I haven't used it long enough to see great benefits, but I noticed it did give me a bit of energy!

I get really tired of people trashing MLM products because they are expensive. Pharmaceutical companies charge an arm and a leg for antibiotics, inflammation drugs, etc. etc.with 20 seconds of warnings and side effects. When they don't work no doctor or pharmacy reimburses you because they are just practicing. You don't work for free and why should people who are sharing this product work for free? If someone didn't tell them about it who told you many of you would still be in pain hoping to die because Doctors and pharmaceutical companies don't have all the answers. Write the check and quit whining and be grateful.
