What a superb piece of leathercrafting. This wallet boasts generous dimensions, eight ample credit-card slots, and a welcome suppleness right out of the box (the wallet folds perfectly and stays closed from the very start -- no break-in period here!). The wallet also contains two pockets behind each four-card array, a two-section bill compartment, and red plaid linings throughout (an inspired delight).

I have the black edition, whose lovely grain resembles that of English morocco. The security flap is a wonderful idea, giving extra protection to your ID slot and your most important plastic cards -- not that they will slip out: all the slots hold cards very snugly but let them slide out easily when you need them. Every detail of this wallet quietly reflects the great care that Dionigi has taken, from elegant conception to flawless execution.

In short, this is a superb product that should give many years of solid service.

I spent quite some time looking for a well-made, classic wallet that was not too "fussy", yet clearly had nice lines. I was so pleased when this wallet arrived! My husband is an understated man who is not big into designer looks, but he appreciates the quality of nice things. When he opened this wallet on Xmas morning, he immediately began to transfer all his materials from the old wallet to the new one. The details that are featured on the website are accurate. The warm brown of the leather is very handsome. This wallet was a bit bigger than his old one, but it still fits easily into back pockets of jeans. A great gift!!!!

Put this wallet in your hip pocket, and you won't know that you're carrying it--even when you sit. My wallet, with eight credit cards, receipts, extra cards and a secure id-window under the flap, does not have the bulge or feel of a brick; and it slips into a breast pocket without diminishing a jacket's drape.

I am picky about wallets and usually spend twice what paid for this one. Yet this is the best I have owned! After two years of daily use with everything from jeans to suits, the wallet is softer than ever and still keeps its shape. Sliding this wallet into a pocket gives daily appreciation of its simple elegance and superb quality.

As another reviewer aptly noted, amazon's description is accurate, and the wallet meets expectations for its craft of assembly and quality of materials. The wallet arrives (mine did) attractively and thoughtfully packaged, suitable for gift-giving.

I will keep this short:

PROS:

1. Expertly hand crafted in Italy.

2. High quality leather; soft and very durable.

3. Slightly larger dimensions accommodates even bank or business checks. No issues with it fitting in your back pocket.

4. Plenty of inserts for your credit/bank cards.

5. Linen divider in the paper note section to separate paper money from your checks and other items.

6. Security flap is nice to hide cards you wish for the public not to see.

IN SUMMARY:

I used to get wallets as gifts nearly every year or couple of years. Particularly because I NEEDED to have a new one each year or so. The quality was sub par. I am confident this wallet will last for many years given the quality and workmanship that has been put into this item.

I purchased the same wallet in Italy 6 years ago. It has served me well and worn like Iron. When it was time to replace it, there was no question what I wanted.

This wallet provides just enopugh pockets for my various credit cards and other ID cards. The two bill compartments allow me to better organize my money. I am impressed by the quality of the leather. I highly recommend this product.

I've been using mine going on 3 years come January. It's worn but still in good shape.

Came back to Amazon to order a new one and decided to leave a comment. Well made product that looks and feels good.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband, because his wallet is falling apart. It's nice and flat and looks very modern and chic. He has plenty of space for his cards and likes it a lot.

This wallet just exudes quality. I am loving the buttery soft leather, plaid interior lining (and I hate plaid, usually), the pocket layout. A great item overall.

Very nice Italian leather wallet. Ample room for credit cards, business cards, plus the flip out ID. Very happy with purchase.
