5.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids and arthritic folks
Let's face it, smaller hands have trouble holding a lot of cards.
This card-holder solves that!
The player simply pushes the card into the holder and it's there for good. We've had 11 cards in ours and it still would've held more.

This would also be great for folks with arthritis!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, but not very durable
After only three uses, the card holder started to come apart. It was not roughly handled or played with, either. I would rate it much higher if it stayed together better.

You just barely push the corner of the card into the holder and it sticks. Remember to remind the little ones that it takes the gentlest of pushes to hold it there.

Tip: if you need it in a hurry, they've got 'em at Wal-Mart.

Bought this a week or so ago for my 4 year old son. He loves it! We have been using the Jumbo size cards and this card holder holds a lot of them. It also holds the regular size playing cards. It is light weight and very easy for a young child to use. It makes it so much easier and enjoyable for my son and I to play his favorite card games.

As soon as I saw this on Amazon I thought of a teenager I am very fond of who unfortuantely has a serious degenerative muscular disability. He has the ability to use the controls on his power wheelchair and is able to use his hands to some extent, but holding cards would be an utter impossibility without this product. He enjoys playing Uno and this allows him to put his cards in place and just have to hold one large handle which he is able to do well. He can easily insert the cards and it allows him to play fully independently of assistance other than the need for someone to shuffle and pass out the cards during his turn which we most gladly do for him. I am so glad I got this for him - there are so many things he is unable to participate in, so seeing him able to do something he loves such as this is incredibly gratifying. Wonderful product - highly recommended and serious kudos to the person who created this product.

This was the greatest thing! Santa brought this as a stocking stuffer for each girl - ages 5 and 6 at the time. We like to play card games like go fish, crazy 8's, etc and the girls had a hard time holding their cards. I highly recommend this to any parent who has young children and wants to play card games. A great gift and a great idea in general.

Gamewright's Original Little Hands Playing Card Holders are really great. You can actually teach kids how to play card games - which can be a good learning tool and a genuinely entertaining activity for kids and adults alike - without the whole focus being on keeping the kids' cards from falling all over the place. It makes kids feel more competent when they're able to manage their cards as well as an adult. That, in turn, builds their confidence and lets them focus their attention on learning the strategy and the rules of the game. So, something as simple as this ingenious little device can remove barriers and facilitate the happy bonding of people 50-, 60-, even 75-years apart in age. And, for that matter, at the other end of the age spectrum, those with arthritis may appreciate these card holders for the relief they offer sore hands. They are featherweight little things and make managing a hand of 18 cards a breeze. Every home with kids (or that gets kid visitors) should have a few around. I've bought four so far, but I keep thinking of more people I would like to give them to. They make wonderful gifts. Original Little Hands Playing Card Holder

This is a great tool! My son (6) uses his all the time, and loves it. He loves being able to hold cards up like mom and dad, rather than laying them on the table. He can get quite a few cards in the holder! The only small problem is that he likes to really stuff them into the holder, so when he pulls out a card then usually the ones next to it come out too.

This playing card holder is fantastic! It makes it so easy for kids to play card games. Before we got these, they were always trying to lay their cards out on chairs or on the floor, which often ended up with them seeing each other's cards. These have solved that problem and they work perfectly. We love them!
